ARMY

The Institute for Defense Analyses, Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded on March 27, 1995, a $24,136,096 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for studies and analyses in support of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and other defense agencies. This contract provides for task order directed research and evaluations on matters of interest to the U.S. Government, with emphasis on national security. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1998. Of the total contract funds, $150,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Eastern Canvas Products*, Ward Hill, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $9,106,560 firm fixed price contract for 864,000 Quick Doff Hoods for M40A1/M42A1 Protective Masks. Work will be performed in Morovis, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed by November 28, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 59 bids solicited on September 14, 1994, and 4 bids received. Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $16,000,000 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for FY95 incremental funding for the T801 Growth Engine full scale development and Air Vehicle Support Program. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Arizona (50%), and Indianapolis, Indiana (50%), and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 25, 1991. SamCorp General Contractors*, El Paso, Texas, is being awarded a $6,135,901 firm fixed price contract for construction of a 43,901 square foot addition to The U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy to provide classrooms, a computer simulation center and administrative storage

space. Supporting facilities include utilities; electric services; fire protection and alarm system; fencing, paving, walks, curbs and gutters; parking; storm drainage; information systems; and site improvements. Work will be performed at Fort Bliss, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 16, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics Land Systems Division, Sterling Heights, Michigan, is being awarded a $166,467,752 firm fixed price contract for 132 M1A1 Abrams Tank hardware kits, for Egypt. Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio (70%), Sterling Heights, Michigan (15%), Eynon, Pennsylvania (9%), and Warren, Michigan (6%), and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 25, 1994. Litton Electron Devices, Tempe, Arizona, is being awarded a $10,808,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 4,000 AN/PVS-7B Night Vision Ground Goggles. Work will be performed in Tempe, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by December 30, 1997. Of the total Contract funds, $10,808,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. ITT Corporation, Aerospace/Communications Division, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded a $28,986,353 modification to a firm fixed price contract for FY95 Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio Systems (SINCGARS) Airborne Production Radios (less than 1% of these are for the country of Greece). Work will be performed in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by May 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Martin Marietta Defense Systems, a Lockheed Martin Company, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $6,341,840 cost plus fixed fee contract for configuration and logistic support engineering services for the countries of Israel and Germany. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1996. Of

ARPA

Motorola, Incorporated, Government and Space Technology Group, Government Electronics Division, Scottsdale, Arizona, is being awarded a $2,088,511 increment as part of a $5,942,940 cost plus fixed fee contract for research to develop enhanced operator high information content data display capability in a modified Melios Rangefinder. Work will be performed in Scottsdale, Arizona (67%), and Minneapolis, Minnesota (33%), and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 16 bids solicited on October 3, 1994, and 16 bids received. NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $5,552,962 ceiling priced order for repairs and tracking of items at the Avionics Repair Facilities at Naval Air Station, Lemoore, California, and Naval Air Station, Cecil Field, Florida, in support of the U.S. Navy F/A-18 Aircraft Interim Material Program (96.5%), and the Spanish EF/A-18 Aircraft Program (3.5%), under the Foreign Military Sales Program (FMS). Work will be performed in Lemoore, California (75%), and Cecil Field, Florida (25%), and is expected to be completed by September 1995. Defense business operating and Spanish contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Navy aircraft procurement contract funds in the amount of $52,962 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Brown and Root Environmental, a division of Brown and Root, Inc., Houston, Texas, is being awarded $654,860 (six-month base period) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-award-fee contract for a Comprehensive Long-Term Environment Action, Navy (C.L.E.A.N.). The total contract amount is not-to-exceed $250,000,0000. Work will be performed at various locations throughout the United States, and will include environmental engineering services in support of all Navy environmental programs. The contract performance period is not-to-exceed ten years. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under Brooks Bill procedures whereby the five most qualified companies were selected by a selection committee and cost was negotiated with the top rated company. Booz, Allen & Hamilton, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,933,736 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering, technical and program management services in support of the implementation of various tactical and non-tactical information systems. Work will be performed in McLean, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by March 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. AIR FORCE

Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $10,412,694 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development test and evaluation flight testing applicable to the F-16 aircraft. The work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, California (94%) and other locations. Contract is expected to be completed March 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Turkey, Greece, Taiwan, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands and Norway. Lockheed Sanders, Incorporated, Information Systems Division, Nashua, New Hampshire, is being awarded a $15,137,170 (Estimated) face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to extend by 18 months the block C.2 software, development, integration and testing effort in support of the Air Force Mission Support System. Contract is expected to be completed August 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Harris Corporation, Government Aerospace Systems Division, Troutman Boulevard, Palm Bay, Florida, is being awarded a $5,548,113 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for action to procure 386 Signal Data Converters, 259 Accessory kits (mounts, connectors, etc.) and associated data applicable to the global Positioning Systems for the F-117, A-10 and multiple Navy aircraft. Orbital Sciences Corporation, Launch Systems Group, Chandler, Arizona, is being awarded a $8,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design, development and payload integration for four launch vehicle systems based on the Castor IVB motor. This effort is in support of the Theater Missile Defense Critical Measurements Program, Campaign. Contract is expected to be completed . Rockwell International Corporation, Collins Avionics and Communications Division, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $12,364,605 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-fee contract for 519 Miniaturized Airborne Global Positioning System Receivers (MAGRs) and 448 MAGR Aircraft Mounts applicable to multiple aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, Greece, Finland, South Korea and Switzerland, while 22% support Navy requirements and 4% support Army requirements. Rockwell International Corporation, North American Aircraft, Anaheim, California, is being awarded a $33,269,888 cost-plus-award-fee contract for interim contractor support for the AC-130U aircraft through 31 March 2000. The work will be performed at Palmdale, California, (25%) and Fort Walton Beach, Florida (75%). Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and one proposal was received. Today the Air Force is awarding indefinite/delivery contracts to the following contractors: Rockwell International Corporation, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; TRW Electronic Systems Division, Redondo Beach, California; Lockheed Sanders, Incorporated, Nashua, New Hampshire; Ceridian Corporation, Bloomington, Minnesota; and Hughes Electronic Technologies Incorporated. These companies will be participating in an Advanced Technology Support Program (ATSP). Total

estimated program aggregate is $480,000,000. Each contractor will fulfill a minimum of $50,000 in delivery orders contracted for with funds obligated from the program aggregate indicated above. The ATSP will develop replacement for electronics hardware and software, develop advanced technology hardware and software applications, and support the Sacramento Air Logistics Center Advanced Electronics Technology Group. The work will be performed at the aforementioned locations. Contract is expected to be completed March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One hundred and seventy five bids were solicited and nine proposals were received. The solicitation was issued December 1993 and negotiations were completed October 1994. OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HEALTH AND MEDICAL PROGRAM OF THE

UNIFORMED SERVICES

QualMed, Inc., Pueblo, Colorado, is being awarded a $2,541,053,894 fixed price, indefinite delivery contract with provisions for adjustment of health care prices, for Managed Care Support services in California and Hawaii. This contract provides for five one-year option periods. Proposals were solicited from four offerors and four proposals were received. The Office of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services, Aurora, Colorado, is the contracting activity (MDA906-95-C-0003).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

La Gloria Oil and Gas Company, Bellaire, Texas was awarded on March 30, 1995, a $24,768,973 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide JP-8 jet fuel. Three hundred fifty proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work will be performed in Tyler, Texas and is expected to be completed by March 30, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia is the contracting activity (SC0600-95-D-0480).

Pride Companies, L.P.*, Abilene, Texas was awarded on March 30, 1995, a $62,117,232 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide JP-8 jet fuel. Three hundred fifty proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work will be performed in N. Abilene, Texas and is expected to be completed by March 30, 1996. Exide Corporation, Reading, Pennsylvania is being awarded an estimated $10,630,000 firm fixed price contract to provide three specific wet/fully charged battery items designed for use in tactical and combat vehicles, with related contractor services. Fifteen proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed on approximately 1,638 military activities located on government installation sites throughout the continental United States and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1996.
