DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Truman Arnold Companies*, Memphis, Tennessee was awarded on April 10, 1995, a $7,123,316 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide reformulated regular gasoline, regular unleaded gasoline, midgrade unleaded gasoline, premium unleaded gasoline, DL1 diesel fuel, DL2 diesel fuel, LS2 diesel fuel and burner #2 fuel oil. Three hundred twenty proposals were solicited and ninety-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by May 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia is the contracting activity (SP0600-95-D-4583).

Allied Petro Inc.*, Houston, Texas was awarded on April 10, 1995, a $14,616,748 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide regular unleaded gasoline, DL1 diesel fuel, DL2 diesel fuel, LS1 diesel fuel, LS2 diesel fuel, HS2 diesel fuel and burner oil #2. Three hundred twenty proposals were solicited and ninety-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by May 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia is the contracting activity (SP0600-95-D-4523).

Propper International, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico is being awarded a $9,525,000 firm fixed price contract to provide BDU, camouflage pattern trousers. One proposal was solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by July 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (DLA100-93-D-0410/P00014).

ARMY

FN Manufacturing, Incorporated, Columbia, South Carolina, was awarded on March 10, 1995, an $8,995,110 modification to a firm fixed price (with options) contract for 4,098 M249 Machine Guns. Work will be performed in Columbia, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by July 26, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 29, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament and Chemical and Logistics Activity, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAE20-94-C-0504).

OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HEALTH AND MEDICAL PROGRAM OF THE

UNIFORMED SERVICES

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina, is being awarded a $14,622,286 fixed price indefinite quantity contract for Fiscal Intermediary Services for the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio with a guaranteed minimum of 600,000 claims. This contract also provides for two option periods, one for 12 months and one for 10 months. Proposals were received from three offerors and two proposals were found acceptable. The Office of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed services, Aurora, Colorado, is the contracting activity (MDA906-95-D-0008).

NAVY

Integrated Systems Solutions Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland, is being awarded a $14,685,138 cost-reimbursement, no-fee, completion-type contract for advanced research and development in the area of Low Power Electronics (LPE). Work will be performed in Bethesda., Maryland (50%), and East Fishkill, New York (50%), and is expected to be completed by April 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $5,615,000, will expire during the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) and 44 offers were received. Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center, RDTE Division, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N66001-95-C-6009).
