being awarded a $73,523,478 cost-plus-award-fee level-of-effort contract
(N00024-95-C-5159) for AEGIS Combat System (ACS) Baseline Upgrade and Critical
Experiment Development. Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey, and
is expected to be completed by March 2000. No contract funds will expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively

General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut is being awarded
a $8,995,141 firm-fixed-price-contract (N00024-95-C-8502) for the advance
planning and execution of the Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRA) of USS
BATFISH (SSN 681) and USS BILLFISH (SSN 676) to include alterations, repair,
maintenance and testing. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut and is
expected to be completed for USS BATFISH and USS BILLFISH by June and August
1996, respectively. All contract funds will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals
solicited and one offer received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington,

Hughes Space and Communications, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a
$7,363,329 modification to previously awarded contract (N00039-88-C-0300).
This modification will incorporate Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 23R-1 into
the contract for the Ultra-High Frequency Follow-on Satellite (UHF F/O) at a
not to exceed price of $9.8 million. Work will be performed in El Segundo,
California, and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of this fiscal year. The basic contract was
competitively awarded in 1988. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command,
Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Tactical Aircraft & Missile Systems, St. Louis,
Missouri, is being awarded a $91,577,049 cost-plus-incentive fee contract for
Stand-off Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM-ER) Engineering and
Manufacturing Development (EMD). The contract is being funded incrementally
with the first imcrement of $12,927,049 (FY95 RDT&E) being awarded today. Work
will be performed in St. Charles, Missouri (78.9%), St. Petersburg, Florida
(13.9%) and Melbourne, Florida (7.2%), and is expected to be completed by
December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.

United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida, is being awarded a
$15,113,477 Firm Fixed Price contract for one year of initial spare parts for
the F-117-PW-100 engine applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The work will be
performed at Pratt & Whitney Manufacturing Operations, East Hartford,
Connecticut. Contract is expected to be completed December 1995. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was
solicited and one proposal received. The solicitation was issued in April 1994
and negotiations were completed in February 1995. San Antonio Air Logistics

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Long Beach, California, is being awarded a
$14,927,130 Firm Fixed Price contract for interim contractor support for the
C-17 aircraft from 14 June 1995 through 13 June 1996. The work will be
performed at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina (91%) and at McDonnell
Douglas Aerospace, Long Beach, California. Contract is expected to be
completed June 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
