ARMY
Tracor Aerospace, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $3,250,000
increment as part of a $19,938,518 cost plus incentive fee contract for a joint
United States Army and Marine Corps program for the design and development of a
Demonstration & Validation Explosive Standoff Minefield Breacher (ESMB)
prototype, with the capability to neutralize mines and submunitions from a
position outside their lethal distance. The ESMB shall neutralize all types of
known surface laid and buried mines (down to 20 centimeters) in the breach
lane, 5 meters wide by 145 meters long. The ESMB shall be towed by a host
vehicle. The end items include 3 each ESMBs, 15 reloads, 5 flight test
reloads, 2 trainers, 1 test trailer, technical field support, and training.
Work will be performed in Austin, Texas (49%), Chatsworth, California (28%),
Gainesville, Virginia (10%), Simsbury, Connecticut (10%), and Waldorf, Maryland
(3%), and is expected to be completed by July 14, 1997. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 97 bids solicited
on August 29, 1994 and 6 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S.

Honeywell, Incorporated, Defense Avionics Systems, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is
being awarded a $5,310,693 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 43
Improved Master Controller Unit Shipsets, applicable to the OH58D Kiowa Warrior
Helicopter. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is expected
to be completed by April 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
February 28, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and
Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-94-C-0163).
FN Manufacturing, Columbia, South Carolina, is being awarded a $6,955,520 firm
fixed price contract for 16,000 M16A2 Rifles. Work will be performed in
Columbia, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated on March 13, 1995. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Armament and Chemical Acquisition and Logistics Activity, Rock

Loral Federal Systems-Owego, Owego, New York, is being awarded an $8,853,957
modification to a firm fixed price contract for the Communications High
Accuracy Location System - Exploitable (CHALS-X), which is a passive emitter
location system used to obtain precision location of communication emitters.
Work will be performed in Owego, New York, and is expected to be completed by
January 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on September 16, 1994.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
IMCO General Construction*, Bellingham, Washington, is being awarded a
$1,500,000 increment as part of a $5,041,600 firm fixed price construction
contract to replace the downstream navigation lock gate at Ice Harbor Dam,
located on the Snake River. Work will be performed in Franklin County,
Washington (80%), and Pasco, Washington (20%), and is expected to be completed
by April 16, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 54 bids solicited on March 7, 1995, and 9 bids
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla
Walla, Washington (DACW68-95-C-0040).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Trajen, Inc.*, College Station, Texas is being awarded a $6,558,384 firm fixed
price contract to provide alongside aircraft fuel delivery and related
services. Thirty-four proposals were solicited and three were received. Work
will be performed at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California and

Bergen Brunswig Drug Company, Orange, California is being awarded a $9,584,557
firm fixed price contract to provide pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor
program. One hundred thirty-eight proposals were solicited and three were
received. Work will be performed at Aiea, Hawaii and is expected to be
completed by April 1996. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,

Burlington Menswear, New York, New York is being awarded a $6,888,000 fixed
price with economic price adjustment contract to provide AF 1620, poly/wool
serge cloth. Forty-six proposals were solicited and two were received. Work
will be performed at Raeford, North Carolina; Clarksville, Virginia; and North
Wales, Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by October 5, 1996. Funds
