Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $6,427,593
Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for development of modeling and simulation tools
in support of the Joint Advanced Strike Technology (JAST) program. Forty-nine
per cent of the work will be performed at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company
in Marietta, Georgia. Contract is expected to be completed November 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Six
proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in January 1995 and
negotiations were completed in April 1995. Wright Laboratory, Wright-Patterson
Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (F3361-95/C-5538).
ARMY
Henry Schein, Incorporated*, Institution Division, Melville, New York, was
awarded on April 14, 1995, a $2,371,770 increment as part of an estimated
$69,900,000 (base year plus four option years) indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity contract to provide just-in-time dental supplies and equipment to over
one hundred dental clinics for the Department of the Army worldwide (may
include dental clinics at Bethesda Naval Hospital and Andrews Air Force Base).
Work will be performed at various locations in the Continental United States,
Hawaii, Alaska, and Panama. Sites in Europe, Japan and Korea will be added
within the first two years. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 35 bids solicited on May 10, 1994, and 3 bids
received. The contracting activity is the Walter Reed Army Medical Center,
Washington, D.C. (DADA15-95-D-0009).
Hercules, Incorporated, Hercules Aerospace Company, Wilmington, Delaware, is
being awarded a $24,751,794 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for
the operation of a government owned/contractor operated facility. Work will be
performed at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford, Virginia, and is
expected to be completed by September 30, 1995.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated on January 11, 1991. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island,
Illinois (DAAA09-91-Z-0001).
J&J Maintenance, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $1,431,323
cost plus award fee contract to provide for the management, personnel,
materials, equipment, services and transportation required to perform total
housing maintenance, repairs, reconstruction, alterations and occupant
self-help activities. Work will be performed on military housing in the
Republic of Panama. Of the total contract funds, $500,000 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. There were 70 bids solicited on December 16,
1993, and 4 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Garrison, Panama (DAHC92-95-C-0085).
