for 2 Black Hawk helicopters for the government of Columbia. Work will be
performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by
September 30, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 28, 1992. The

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Aqua-Marine Constructors, Incorporated*, Portland, Oregon, is being awarded a
$500,000 increment as part of a $6,087,500 firm fixed price contract for
construction of 1,865 feet of rubblemound breakwater between Near and Gull
Islands, including a 20 foot gap adjacent to Near Island for an entrance
channel, a 100 foot breakwater just west of the harbor's north entrance
channel, and widening the north entrance channel to 100 feet and deepening this
channel to 12 beet below mean low low water. Work will be performed in Kodiak,
Alaska, and is expected to be completed by September 27, 1996. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 39 bids
solicited on March 7, 1995, and 7 bids received. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Anchorage, Alaska (DACW85-95-C-0017).
NAVY
Baldi Brothers, Constructors*, Beaumont, California, is being awarded a
$5,629,000 firm-fixed price contract for construction of a multi-purpose
training range at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Work will
be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed
by November 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 95 offers solicited
and 11 proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic

General Atomics, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $7,715,232
cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for the development and demonstration
of a compact, self-contained shipboard Hydrothermal Oxidation (HTO) unit for
Navy Shipboard Excess Hazardous Materials (NSEHM). Work will be performed in
San Diego, California (80%), Norfolk, Virginia (6%) and Austin, Texas (14%),
and is expected to be completed by October 1997. Contract funds in the amount
of $3,008,335 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract
