ARMY

Alliant Techsystems, Accudyne Operations, Janesville, Wisconsin, was awarded on May 13, 1995, a $5,752,805 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 20,081 body assembly BLU-92/B in support of the CBU-89 A/B Air Force Gator. Work will be performed in Janesville, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by March 28, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on April 6, 1995, and one bid received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-93-C-0485).

Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Hopkins, Minnesota, is being awarded $43,151,795 to exercise an option on a definitization of a firm fixed price letter contract for 12,000 VOLCANO M87A1 canister assembly production and integration effort. Work will be performed in New Brighton, Minnesota (20.41%), Janesville, Wisconsin (6.25%), and various subcontractor locations (73.34%), and is expected to be completed by July 15, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 12, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament Research Development & Engineering Center, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey (DAAA21-94-C-0090).

Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Hopkins, Minnesota, is being awarded a $10,215,381 firm fixed price contract for 1,631,850 30mm PGU/15-B cartridges in support of the A-10 Thunderbolt. Work will be performed at Joliet Army Ammunition Plant, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by November 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on December 21, 1994, and two bids received. Helicopter. Work will be performed at the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant, New Brighton, Minnesota (70%), and in Wilmington, Illinois (30%), and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on December 19, 1994, and two bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-95-C-0070).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $14,000,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price-undefinitized-letter contract for the Radar System Improvement Program (RSIP) Pre-Production Effort applicable to the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. This action provides for RSIP production materials, test equipment and contractor support for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) RSIP effort. Contract is expected to be completed in March 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and one proposal was received. The solicitation was issued in March 1995 and negotiations were completed in May 1995. The Headquarters Electronic Systems Center (AFMC), Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts is the contracting activity (F19628-95-C-0075).

NAVY

Harper/Nielsen-Dillingham Builders (Joint Venture), San Diego, California, is being awarded a $21,200,265 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of new family housing units at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Work will be performed in San Diego County, California, and is expected to be completed by January 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 350 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N68711-94-C-1452).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Penn Detroit Diesel Allison*, York Haven, Pennsylvania is being awarded a $5,255,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide replacement parts. Twenty proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by May 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio is the contracting activity (SP0700-95-D-A002).

Penn Detroit Diesel Allison*, York Haven, Pennsylvania is being awarded an estimated $15,000,000 fixed price contract subject to change of commercial catalog prices to provide replacement parts. Thirty-four proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is

Exxon Company, U.S.A., Houston, Texas is being awarded an estimated $33,922,129 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide JP8 aviation turbine fuel. Three hundred fifty proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work will be performed in Billings, Montana and is expected to be completed by October 30, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia is the contracting activity (SP0600-95-D-0468).
