modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise an option for
installation of 20 Apache helicopter 701C engines and 4 Apache helicopter spare

helicopter 701C engines for Egypt and FY95 Army/Navy technical publications.

American Science and Engineering, Incorporated*, Billerica, Massachusetts, is
being awarded a delivery order amount of $1,177,135 as part of a $9,600,000
indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm fixed price/cost reimbursement
contract for 29 American Science and Engineering (AS&E) Model 101Z Mobile X-Ray
Systems, 31 AS&E Model 101XLZ X-Ray Systems, and 18 Extra-penetration Upgrades
to existing fielded systems. These X-Ray Systems are used in support of the
U.S. Customs Service drug and weapon interdiction program. Work will be
performed in Billerica, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by June
30, 1999. This is a sole source contract initiated on February 3, 1995. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command

NAVY
Bachmann Construction,* Carlsbad, California, is being awarded a $6,237,430
firm-fixed-price contract for repairs to family housing at the Naval
Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, California. Work is expected to
be completed by July 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 190
proposals solicited and 14 offers received. The Engineering Field Activity
West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, California, is the

AIR FORCE
Systems Research Laboratories, Incorporated, Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a
$11,045,826 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for research and exploratory
development of passive electronic countermeasures. Contract is expected to be
completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 27 firms solicited and 4 proposals received.
Solicitation began in February 1995 and negotiations were complete in May 1995.
