ARMY

American Seating Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, was awarded on May 31, 1995, a firm fixed price indefinite delivery requirements contract, (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with an estimated cumulative total of $11,000,000, if all options are exercised, for systems furniture for the Defense Intelligence Agency. Work will be performed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1999. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 29, 1995. The contracting activity is the Virginia Contracting Activity, Washington, D.C. (MDA908-95-D-1502).

Buckner and Moore, Incorporated*, Moore, Oklahoma, is being awarded an $11,785,256 firm fixed price contract for construction of 93,000 square feet of visiting officers quarters, consisting of two three-story buildings and a one-story central energy plant. It will serve as housing for approximately 160 officers assigned and/or attached for training at Altus Air Force Base. The project is to include private sleeping, living, kitchen, and bathrooms; as well as common laundry rooms, vending areas, janitor/maids areas, elevators, linen storage areas, mechanical rooms, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, utilities, site development, sidewalks, and POV parking areas. The construction will be reinforced concrete foundation and floor slabs, masonry walls, structural steel framing, and standing seam metal roof. Work will be performed at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 53 bids solicited on January 3, 1995, and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa, Oklahoma (DACA56-95-C-0032).

Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Incorporated, Reston, Virginia, is being awarded $1,000,000 (guaranteed minimum) as part of a $15,000,000 (base year with four option years) indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract for construction/repair requirements for a basewide construction effort, including carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, demolition, concrete, masonry and welding. Work will be performed at the Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 1, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 45 bids solicited on December 19, 1994, and 10 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas (DACA63-95-D-0038).

Teledyne Brown Engineering, Huntsville, Alabama, is being awarded a $5,453,092 cost plus fixed fee contract for equipment acquisition and support services under the Small Burials Program (process equipment to decontaminate recovered or buried chemical weapons material, and support services to operate and/or test the equipment). Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by June 1, 2001. There were 182 bids solicited on May 16, 1994, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-95-D-0001).

NAVY

Mid-Eastern Builders, Inc., Chesapeake, Virginia, is being awarded a $6,494,700 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a patrol craft support facility at the Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Virginia. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by November 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 75 proposals solicited and seven offers received. AIR FORCE

JAYCOR, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $23,596,928 Cost Plus Award Fee contract for operation and maintenance of the logistics support facility for the Commander-in-Chief Mobile Alternate Headquarters Program. The work will be performed at JAYCOR's facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Contract is expected to be completed September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One firm was solicited and 1 firms submitted a proposal. Solicitation began 15 May 1995 and negotiations were complete 23 May 1995. Loral Training & Technical Services, Horsham, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $12,600,000 Firm Fixed Price contract six years of operations and maintenance services for the Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation range at Decimomannu Air Base in Sardinia, Italy. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 27 firms solicited and 4 firms submitted proposals. Solicitation began February 1995 and negotiations were complete May 1995. Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $5,681,981 Firm Fixed Price contract for various technical orders in support of the Peacekeeper and Minuteman missile systems. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One firm was solicited; one firm submitted a proposal. Solicitation began August 1994 and negotiations were complete March 1995. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah is the contracting activity (F42610-95/D-0019).

Prospective Computer Analysts, Incorporated, Roslyn, New York, is being awarded a $14,556,590 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for application of a Small Business Innovative Research Phase III knowledge-based development tool. Contract is expected to be completed May 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One firm was solicited; one firm submitted a proposal. Solicitation began February 1995 and negotiations were complete May 1995. Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida is the contracting activity (FA0021-95/D0002).

Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $10,750,570 Firm Fixed Price contract for operation and maintenance of the Advanced Logistics Decision Support System. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Forty firms were solicited; one firm submitted a proposal.
