AIR FORCE
Allied Signal Aerospace, Phoenix, Arizona, is being awarded a $7,100,733 Firm
Fixed Price contract for 13 line items of large equipment components for the
gas turbine engines and secondary power systems on the he C-5A/B, C-130A-H,
C-141A/B, A-10, B-1B, and F-15 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed
June 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. One firm was solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began
November 1994 and negotiations were complete May 1995. San Antonio Air
Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting activity
(F41608-95/D-0772).
Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a $7,944,375
face value increase to a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for development of a
prototype off-aircraft pylon tester applicable to the B-52H aircraft. Contract
is expected to be completed June 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation began September 1994 and
negotiations were complete May 1995. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center,
Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity (F34601-92/C-1116,
P00038).
ARMY
General Dynamics Land Systems Tallahassee Operations, Tallahassee, Florida, is
being a $5,375,055 modification to a firm fixed price with award fee contract
for the manufacture of Single Channel Ground and Airborne System (SINCGARS)
radios for ground use. The amount represents the award fee. The work will be
performed in Tallahassee, and is expected to be completed by October 30, 1995.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 31 bids solicited on November 9, 1987, and five bids received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command
