AIR FORCE

Raytheon Company, Lowell, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $6,639,271 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract for a Value Engineering Incentive Payment for Lot IX of the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM). Contract is expected to be completed February 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Approximately 51% of this effort supports foreign military sales to Korea, Norway, Turkey, Denmark and Switzerland. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is the contracting activity (F08626-90/C-0004, P00071).

ARMY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $7,651,220 firm fixed price contract for 326 Primary Servo Assemblies used on Black Hawk helicopter airframes, a major sub-component of the flight control system. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by March 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 2 bids solicited on January 12, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-93-C-0017).

Martin Marietta Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $5,212,539 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 165 TEC kits and 165 IROAN effort (inspect and repair as necessary) for the Multiple Launch Rocket System transmission upgrade effort. Work will be performed in Pittsfield**, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 28, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-C-A014).

Olin Ordnance, Downey, California, is being awarded a $7,000,316 firm fixed price contract for 646,800 TP M788 30mm cartridges in support of the AH-64 Apache helicopter. Work will be performed in Marion, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by February 19, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 2 bids solicited on December 19, 1994, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-95-C-0081).

Litton Systems, Incorporated, Guidance Control System Division, Woodland Hills, California, is being awarded an $853,617 increment as part of a $5,369,181 (with 5 options, cumulative total is $18,224,058) cost plus fixed fee contract for research for the development of a miniature guidance package for missiles and other airborne vehicles under the Global Positioning System Guidance Package, Phase A. Work will be performed in Woodland Hills, California, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Honeywell, Incorporated, St. Petersburg, Florida, is being awarded an $853,617 increment as part of a $7,000,000 (with 5 options, cumulative total is $14,631,063) cost plus fixed fee contract for research for the development of a miniature guidance package for missiles and other airborne vehicles under the Global Positioning System Guidance Package, Phase A. Work will be performed in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. NAVY

F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen, Inc., Des Plaines, Illinois, is being awarded a $9,795,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a sanitary sewer improvement project at the Public Works Center, Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Work will be performed in Great Lakes, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by March 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 89 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Engineering Field Activity, Midwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, is the contracting activity (N62467-93-B-0643).

SYNTETICS Corporation, Wakefield, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $22,587,917 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangements for engineering management support for the AEGIS MK7 elements, which are discrete, functional computer program areas, including spy radar, weapon control, fire control and command and decision. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 80 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00178-95-D-2004).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

American Apparel, Selma, Alabama, is being awarded a $19,191,810 firm fixed price contract for woodland camouflage hot weather coats and woodland camouflage enhanced hot weather coats. One proposal was submitted and one was received. Work will be performed in Selma, Alabama, and Fort Deposit, Alabama, and is expected to be completed 425 days from date of award. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense PersonnelSupport Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (DLA100-93-D-0349).
