Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas is being awarded a
$5,927,208 firm fixed price contract for 300 main rotor blades for the UH1
Iroquois Helicoptor. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is
expected to be completed by November 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on February 13, 1995. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army
Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-95-G-0014).
Martin Marietta Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is being awarded
an $11,903,108 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 295 Bradley
Fighting Vehicle System HMPT-500-3EC Remanufactured Transmissions. Work will
be performed in Pittsfield **, Massachusetts., and is expected to be completed
by November 11, 1998. Of the total contract funds, $314,735 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
August 18, 1994. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army Communications and
Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-94-C-0829).
NAVY
Orbital Sciences Corporation, Fairchild Defense, Germantown, Maryland, is
being awarded a $8,250,000 ceiling-priced-order to procure 91 data signal
converters in support of the H-60 helicopter. Work will be performed in
Germantown, Maryland, and is expected to be completed by May 1998. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
not competitively procured. The Navy Aviation Supply Office, Philadelphia,

Litton Systems, Inc., Guidance and Control Division, Northridge, California,
is being awarded a $7,257,495 firm-fixed-price contract for 56 stores
management units, bench models, support data, and incidental engineering
support of the H-60 helicopter. Work will be performed in Northridge,
California, and is expected to be completed by October 1997. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured by a request for proposals and three offers were
received. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Indianapolis,
Indiana, is the contracting activity (N00163-95-C-0119).
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), San Diego, California,
is being awarded a $15,495,986 contract, with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing
arrangement, for engineering, scientific, and related technical services in the
areas of systems performance analysis, acoustic and environmental modeling,
data collection, and analysis, in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center,
Environmental and Tactical Support Systems Department, New London, Connecticut.
Work will be performed principally in New London, Connecticut, and is expected
to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 92
proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center
(NUWC) Detachment, New London, Connecticut, is the contracting activity
(N66604-95-D-1963).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Propper International, Inc.**, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a
$23,166,000 firm fixed price indefinite type contract for woodland camouflage
combat trousers. Forty nine proposals were submitted and five were received.
Work will be performed in Mayaguez, Puerto Riceo, Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, and
Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed by December 1996.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity
