NAVY

Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $11,489,299 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-89-C-0173 for partial reinstatement of the Medium Range Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (MR UAV) program. Under the terms of the modification, the contractor will provide six air vehicles to the Navy. The MR UAV program was cancelled in October of 1993 at the convenience of the government. Congress subsequently authorized and appropriated funds specifically to pay for the program termination costs. The termination of the program is structured to provide six air vehicles to the Navy using residual inventory remaining as a result of contract termination. In May of 1994, the Navy proceeded with actions necessary to build the air vehicles utilizing the funds authorized by Congress. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by July 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Crowley Marine Services, Inc., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $5,292,350 fixed-price requirements contract for the ocean transportation of containerized ammunition between the continental United States and Hawaii, Japan (including Okinawa), and South Korea. The contract performance period extends through December 1995. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and three offers received. The Navy's Military Sealift Command, Central Technical Activity, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62387-95-D-9533).

CORRECTIONS

Navy contract N00024-95-C-4172 with Westinghouse Electronic Systems Company, Baltimore, Maryland, previously announced on July 5, 1995, in the amount of $7,309,809, for 22 Plastic Waste Processors (PWPs) and related installation and checkout spares, onboard spares, and auxiliary components for surface ships, incorrectly specified the locations of the work to be performed under the contract. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, CA (20%), Anaheim, CA (16%), Chicago, IL (3%), Johnstown, PA (26%), Latrobe, PA (9%), and North Huntingdon, PA (22%). The remaining 4% of the work will be performed at various locations throughout the nation. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-95-C-4172).

Navy contract N00024-95-C-4173 with Universal Technologies, Inc., Estill Springs, Tennessee, previously announced on July 5, 1995, in the amount of $5,624,781, for 21 Plastic Waste Processors (PWPs) and related installation and checkout spares, onboard spares, and auxiliary components for surface ships, incorrectly specified the locations of the work to be performed under the contract. Work will be performed in Estill Springs, TN (46.5%),Huntsville, AL (7%), Alpharetta, GA (1.5%), Atlanta, GA (2%), Chicago, IL (8.5%), New Lenox, IL (1.5%), Harahan, LA (4.5%), Baltimore, MD (1.5%), Muskegon, MI (1%), Elmira Heights, NY (1.5%), Cleveland, OH (2%), Hilliard, OH (1%), Chattanooga, TN (4%), Nashville, TN (3.5%), Tullahoma, TN (1%), Winchester, TN (1%), Houston, TX (3%), Wichita Falls, TX (5%), and Ogden, UT (4%). The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Parsons Engineering Science, Incorporated, Boston, Massachusetts, is being awarded a delivery order amount with an estimated value of $15,000,000 (cumulative total an estimated $55,000,000, if all options are exercised - delivery orders will be individually funded), for architect-engineer and facilities master planning/construction support services for environmental services. Work will be performed at Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, New York, and is expected to be completed by July 7, 2000. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 17, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama (DACA87-95-D-0031).
