ARMY
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Environmental Resources Management, Exton, Pennsylvania, is being awarded an
$80,000 increment as part of a $4,000,000 basic (potential value of $20,000,000
if 4 options are exercised) indefinite delivery architect/engineer contract for
remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and various design activities for
sites within the Ohio River Division boundaries. The program includes civil
work sites, superfund sites, defense environmental restoration programs,
installation restoration program sites, installation support to military
installations, Department of Energy and miscellaneous work for others. Work
will be performed in Exton, Pennsylvania, and
is expected to be completed by July 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There was a broad agency announcement
in the Commerce Business Daily, on September 22, 1994, and 50 bids were

NAVY
Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a
$404,349,569 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-2102 for
accomplishment of the Complex Overhaul (COH) of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower
(CVN 69) and its reactor plants. Work will be performed in Newport News,
Virginia, and is expected to be completed by January 1997. Contract funds in
the amount of $341,760,142 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Hughes Aircraft Company, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a
$15,551,379 fixed-price-incentive (incentives on performance) schedule and cost
contract for 30 electronic assemblies, 12 inertial measurement unit
electronics, and one spares lot for the Trident II (D5) missile MK-6 guidance
system. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the
total cumulative value of the contract to $46,009,126. Work will be performed
in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by June 1999.
