1995, a $6,687,428 indefinite quantity contract for woodland camouflage
temperate coats. Fifty five proposals were solicited and five were received.
Work is expected to be completed by November 28, 1996. Funds will not expire

Iowa Beef Processors, Dakota City, Nebraska was awarded on July 17, 1997, an
estimated $21,686,257 firm fixed price contract for resale beef for
commissaries in Europe. Fifty eight proposals were solicited and four were
received. Work will be performed in Joslin, Illinois and is expected to be
completed by September 25, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the
fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
is the contracting activity (SPO300-94-D-M015).
ARMY
General Dynamics Land Systems, Incorporated, Sterling Heights, Michigan, is
being awarded a $22,488,435 modification to a firm fixed price contract for
retrofit of 140 M1A2 Abrams Tanks for Saudi Arabia. Work will be performed in
Warren, Michigan (90%), and Sterling Heights, Michigan (10%), and is expected
to be completed by September 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
September 26, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive
& Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-93-C-A016).
NAVY
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a
$50,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-93-C-0214 for FY
95 requirements for remanufactured AV-8B aircraft for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Work will be performed in Hazelwood, Missouri (73%), and Kingston, England
(27%), and is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Rockwell International Corporation, Autonetics Electronics Systems Division,
Anaheim, California, is being awarded a $12,918,836 modification to previously
awarded contract N00024-91-C-5229 for one Fiber Optic Data Multiplex System
(FODMS) for DDG 79. The FODMS is a complete ship information transfer system.
DDG 79 is scheduled to enter the fleet in February 2000. Work will be
performed in Anaheim, California (25%), and El Paso, Texas (75%), and is
expected to be completed by October 2000. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
