ARMY
Brown & Root Services Corporation, Houston, Texas, is being awarded an
increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each
delivery order) as part of a $6,000,000 (potential value) firm fixed
price/indefinite quantity contract for a broad range of maintenance, repair,
and minor construction work on real property. Work will be performed at Fort
Benning, Georgia (95%), and Reserve Centers in Georgia, Florida and Alabama
(5%), and is expected to be completed by July 19, 1996. There were 46 bids
solicited on March 8, 1995, and 15 bids received. The contracting activity is

NAVY
Yuasa Exide, Inc., Columbia, Maryland, is being awarded a $24,601,300 (base
year) firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity supply and services contract for the
installation of lead calcium batteries at various naval installations
worldwide. These batteries will provide an uninterrupted power supply for
computer facilities which support data centers and telecommunication
intelligence security sites. This contract will also provide for maintenance
training and various technical services in support of the installation and
operation of the batteries. This contract contains options, which if exercised,
will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $76,083,679. Work
will be performed at various naval installations worldwide and is expected to
be completed by July 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 26
proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Construction Battalion
Center, Port Hueneme, California, is the contracting activity
(N47408-95-D-0722).
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a
$14,388,422 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0058 for
FY95 T-45 Training System (T45TS) production requirements. The FY95
procurement consists of 12 T-45A Goshawk

aircraft, fatigue testing, aircraft spare and repair parts, support equipment,
integrated logistics
support, engineering, and administrative and financial data. Work will be
performed in St. Louis, Missouri (69%), and Salmesbury, United Kingdom (31%),
and is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command,
Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Bethpage, New York, is being awarded a letter
contract with a ceiling value of $33,500,000 for engineering, fabrication,
installation, integration, and ground testing of the preproduction unit of the
replacement Vapor Cycle System of the Group II Navy Upgrade Configured E-2C
aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Florida (65%), and
Bethpage, New York (35%), and is expected to be completed by November 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command,
Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-94-C-0267).
Analysis & Technology, Inc., (A&T), North Stonington, Connecticut, is being
awarded a $8,760,281 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity,
cost-plus-fixed-fee provisions contract for broad development, test &
evaluation, fleet integration, and life-cycle support for anti-submarine
warfare weapon systems. Work will be performed in Middletown, Rhode Island
(54%), North Stonington, Connecticut (2%), Newport Rhode Island (27%), Groton,
Connecticut (14%), and Norfolk, Virginia (3%), and is expected to be completed
by July 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 55
proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare
Center, Newport, Rhode Island, is the contracting activity

McLaughlin Research Corp., New London, Connecticut, is being awarded a
$8,244,312 cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
provisions contract for engineering support, functional administration,
technical services, and maintenance support for the life-cycle of lightweight
and heavyweight torpedo systems. Work will be performed in Middletown, Rhode
Island (90%), and Keyport, Washington (10%), and is expected to be completed by
July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 42 proposals solicited and

AIR FORCE
Loral Federal Systems, Boulder, Colorado, is being awarded a $150,000,000
Indefinite Quantity contract for Software Engineering Support for the Defense
Support Program (DSP). The DSP is a space based surveillance system which
provides warning of ballistic missile attack. Contract is expected to be
completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end

Loral Federal Systems Company, Owego, New York, is being awarded a $13,904,583
face value increase to a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for development and
demonstration of nighttime all-weather maneuvering formation flight capability
at intermediate aircraft distances. Contract is expected to be completed July
1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Wright Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting

Chromalloy Turbine Airfoils Division, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is being
awarded a $13,725 845 Firm Fixed Price contract for 67,615 First Stage Vanes
for the TF-33 engines applicable tot he B-52H, C-18, C-141, E-3 and KC-1356
aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17 firms
solicited and 4 proposals received. Solicitation began April 1995 and
negotiations were complete June 1995. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center,
Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity
