DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Boeing Helicopters, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $6,528,000
firm fixed price contract for gears. One proposal was solicited and one was
received. Work is expected to be completed by July 18, 1997. Funds will not
expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Construction Supply Center,

ARMY
Johnson Controls World Services, Incorporated, Cape Canaveral, Florida, is
being awarded a $126,463 increment for a 60 day phase-in period, as part of a
$109,408,952 (potential value if 4 options are exercised) cost plus award fee
contract to provide installation support services to the National Training
Center. The major functional areas included are: public works; range and
airfield operations; training support center; morale, welfare, and recreation;
and administrative support. Work will be performed at Fort Irwin, California,
and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2000. Of the total contract
funds, $126,463 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year, and FY96
funds are subject to availability. There were 28 bids solicited on November 4,
1994, and 8 bids received. The contracting activity is the Directorate of
Contracting, National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California

NAVY
McDonnell Aircraft Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis,
Missouri, is being awarded a $6,000,000 ceiling priced modification to
previously awarded contract N00019-92-C-0057 for a flight test ground station
in support of F/A-18C/D aircraft flight test operations. This contract is
being procured by the government of Switzerland under the Foreign Military
Sales Program (FMS). Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is
expected to be completed by December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington,
D.C. is the contracting activity.
Metro Machine Corporation, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $13,216,133
(base-year) firm-fixed-price contract for the Regular Overhaul (ROH) of USS
YORKTOWN (CG 48). Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected
to be completed by May 1996. This contract contains options, which if
exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to
$14,147,918. Contract funds in the amount of $11,124,700 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with
ten proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Sea Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8043).
AIR FORCE
Sanders (a Lockheed Martin Company) Information Systems Division, Nashua, New
Hampshire, is being awarded a $14,258,605 Firm Fixed Price contract for 10
Mission Planning Subsystem Suites applicable to the Air Force Mission Support
System. Contract is expected to be completed July 1999. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One firm was solicited and
one bid was received. Solicitation began October 1994 and negotiations were
complete June 1995. This effort supports foreign military sales to Taiwan.
Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts is the
contracting activity (F19628-95/C-0166).
General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $17,068,472
face value increase to a Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for
four F110-GE-129 engines applicable to the F-16D aircraft. Contract is
expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to
Turkey. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is
the contracting activity (F33657-94/D-2000, P000901).
Loral Federal Systems, Gaithersburg, Maryland, is being awarded a $400,000,000
Indefinite Quantity contract for total system support for the Global
Positioning System Operational Control Segment. Contract is expected to be
completed July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 110 firms solicited and 3 bids received. Solicitation
began January 1995 and negotiations were complete July 1995. Sacramento Air
Logistics Center, McClellan Air Force Base, California is the contracting
activity (F04606-95/D-0239).
