ARMY

Bell Helicopter Textron Incorporated, Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded on July31, 1995 a $9,995,786 definitization of contract modification to $78,131,114firm fixed price contract for 16 Lot XII, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Aircraft. Workwill be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed byAugust 31, 1997. This is a sole source contract initiated on January 5, 1995.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The contractingactivity is the U. S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri(DAAJ09-94-C-0145).

Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Akron, Ohio was awarded on July 31, 1995 a$13,477,657.30 modification to a $40,652,727.62 firm fixed price contract for60,630 T-107 Track Shoe Assemblies, which supports the M88 Vehicle and 93,575T-130 Track Shoe Assemblies, which support the M113 Personnel Carrier. Workwill be performed in St. Marys, Ohio. Contract funds will not expire at theend of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated onaugust 16, 1994, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996. Thecontracting activity is the U. S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command,Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-D-A014).

FN Manufacturing, Incorporated, Columbia, South Carolina, was awarded on July31, 1995, a $10,789,042.75 firm fixed price contract for 4,618 M249 MachineGuns. Work will be completed at Columbia, South Carolina. Contract funds willnot expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole sourcecontract initiated on April 21, 1995. The contracting activity is the U. S.Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Illinois(DAAE20-95-C-0334).

McKnight Construction Company, Incorporated, was awarded on July 28, 1995, a$18,472,043 firm fixed price contract for design and construction of 232 familyhousing units (218 typical and 14 handicapped adaptable), a total of 287,680square feet, including all necessary site improvements, neighborhood amenitiesand utilities, roads, and recreation areas.

The units will be located at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and will be 3 bedroomunits, with 2 1/2 baths Townhouse with 1240 square feet living room, diningroom, family room, kitchen, pantry, bulk storage, 2 car carport and patio.Heating and air conditioning will be provided with a heat pump. Demolition ofexisting family housing at Hallwood Housing will commence upon completion ofthe new construction in Isenhouer Terrace. Work will be performed in FortStewart, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by March 22, 1998. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Tidewater Construction Corporation, Norfolk, Virginia, was awarded on July31, 1995 a $2,000,000 (continuing contract) to a $7,997,000 firm fixed pricecontract for providing flood protection structures on three sides of theRichmond Filtration Plant. The work includes demolition, extensive sitework,construction of earthen levees and concrete flood walls with ancillaryequipment and support structures. The work will include the construction oftwo sets of hydraulically operated steel miter gates and three steel swinggates for railroad and vehicular traffic access. Work will be performed inRichmond, Virginia and is expected to be completed by January 30, 1998.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Therewere 78 bids solicited on May 8, 1995 and 8 bids received. The contractingactivity is the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk, Virginia(DACW65-95-C-0090).

NAVY

Bay Ship Management, Inc., Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, is being awarded a$40,012,000 fixed-price with cost reimbursables contract for the operation andmaintenance of five Large, Medium Speed, Roll-on/Roll-off (LMSR) ships for theU.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC). This contract contains options,which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to$73,741,905. The contract performance extends through January 1999. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract wascompetitively procured with 65 proposals solicited and 14 offers received. TheU.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Central Technical Activity, Washington,D.C., is the contracting activity (N62387-95-C-4002).

Planning Systems, Inc.*, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $9,304,077modification to previously awarded contract N00014-94-D-6035 for research anddevelopment of environmental acoustic programs. This contract contains optionswhich, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to$24,330,270. Work will be performed in McLean, Virginia, and is expected to becompleted by August 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. The Office of Naval Research, Washington, D.C., is thecontracting activity.

Litton Systems, Inc., San Jose, California, is being awarded a $7,124,688ceiling-priced letter contract for AN/ALR-67(V)2 countermeasures receiving setsoftware and integrated logistics support for the Italian Navy's AV-8B HarrierPlus Program. Work will be performed in San Jose, California (20%), and GrantsPass, Oregon (80%), and is expected to be completed by November 1996.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Thiscontract was not competitively procured. This contract is for the governmentof Italy under the Foreign Military Sales Program (FMS). The Naval Air SystemsCommand, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-94-C-0231).

Orbital Sciences Corp., Germantown, Maryland, is being awarded a $10,939,341firm-fixed-price contract for 1,178 AN/ASQ-215 digital data sets, which willconsist of data transfer module units and interface receptable units. Workwill be performed in Germatown, Maryland, and is expected to be completed byMarch 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was competitively procured by a request for proposals andone offer was received. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division,Indianapolis, Indiana, is the contracting activity (N00163-95-C-0171).

Lockheed Martin Corporation Information Systems, Orlando, Florida, is beingawarded a $15,067,744 modification to previously awarded contractN61339-94-C-0050 for 12 advanced gunnery training systems for the Light ArmoredVehicle (LAV-25) for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the Foreign MilitarySales Program (FMS). Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida (91.3%), andin the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (8.7%), and is expected to be completed by April1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center,Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity(N61339-94-C-0050).

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a$5,100,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-88-C-2195 for thePost Shakedown Availability (PSA) of USS TOLEDO (SSN 769). Work will beperformed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed byFebruary 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contractingactivity.

ITT Defense, Inc., ITT Gilfillan Division, Van Nuys, California, is beingawarded a $21,170,988 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to demonstrate theaffordable manufacture of highly integrated multi-function microwavetransmitter/receiver chips, using the multi-function self-aligned gate (MSAG)process, in support of the Medium Altitude Endurance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(MAE-UAV) program. Work will be performed in Van Nuys, California, and isexpected to be completed by February 1998. Contract funds in the amount of$3,800,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contractwas not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, DahlgrenDivision, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00178-95-C-3043).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense & Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a$9,500,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide 83right-hand side belly skin kits for the lower fuselage of the KC-135 refuelingaircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds of4,750,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City AirLogistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity(F42600-94/G-7559, SD2E).
