NAVY

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a$6,634,444 ceiling-priced order for 258 afterburner flameholders for theF/A-18's F-404 engine. Work will be performed in Lynn, Massachusetts, and isexpected to be completed by October 1998. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitivelyprocured. The Naval Aviation Supply Office, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is thecontracting activity (F34601-92-G-0010).

Dynamic Systems, Inc., Alexandria, Virginia, is being awarded a $9,018,191indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed feeprovisions for assurance services during all life cycle phases of underwaterAnti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) combat and weapon systems, and various electronic,electromagnetic and mechanical equipment. Work will be performed inMiddletown, Rhode Island (95%), Newport, Rhode Island (4%), and sites yet to bedetermined (1%), and is expected to be completed by August 2000. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract wascompetitively procured with 62 proposals solicited and two offers received.The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, New London Detachment, NewLondon, Connecticut, is the contracting activity (N66604-95-D-0009).
