DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Monfort Inc., Greeley, Colorado, is being awarded an estimated $8,891,738 firmfixed price contract for resale commissary pork items. Twenty-two proposalswere solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in Marshalltown,Iowa and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1996. Funds will not expireat the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SPO300-94-D-M016).

NAVY

Babington Enterprises, Inc., McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,629,078firm-fixed-price contract for materials/services for food tray ration heatingsystems and maintenance kits for the U.S. Marine Corps. Work will be performedin McLean, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by October 1999. Contractfunds in the amount of $655,006 will expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was not competitively procured. The Marine Corps SystemsCommand, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity (M67854-95-C-2139).

PRC, Inc., McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,458,229 modification topreviously awarded contract N00024-93-C-6474 for technical, engineering,logistical, and administrative program management support services for theForeign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Arlington,Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea SystemsCommand, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Alliant Techsystems, Inc., Mukilteo, Washington, is being awarded a $7,408,964firm-fixed-price contract for a Forward Area Combined Degaussing and AcousticRange (FACDAR). The FACDAR is designed to analyze mine countermeasurecapabilities of the Navy by determining whether Navy ships meet magneticsignature requirements, and to analyze the vulnerability of ships to mines.Work will be performed in Mukilteo, Washington (65%), and Staffordshire,England (35%), and is expected to be completed by May 1997. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract wascompetitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and five offers received.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, White Oak, Maryland, isthe contracting activity (N00167-95-D-4010).

AIR FORCE

Allison Engine Company, Indianapolis, Indiana, is being awarded a $46,186,640Firm Fixed Price contract for 32 T-56-A-15 and 8 T56-A-16 engines, bothapplicable to the C-130 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed January1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.There was 1 bid solicited and 1 proposal received. Solicitation began March1992 and negotiations were complete August 1995. San Antonio Air LogisticsCenter, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting activity(F41608-95/C-1039).

Boeing Defense & Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a$9,500,000 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide 83left hand side belly skin kits for the lower fuselage of the KC-135 refuelingaircraft. The work will be performed at Boeing Defense and Space Group,Wichita, Kansas. Contract is expected to be completed February 2000. Contractfunds expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation began June1995 and negotiations were complete August 1995 Oklahoma City Air LogisticsCenter, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity(F42600-94/G-7559).

Loral Federal Systems Company, Boulder, Colorado, is being awarded a$12,337,000 face value increase to a Fixed price Incentive contract to extendthe schedule of the basic contract and restructure contract line items toprovide for the serial acceptance of the Satellite Readout Station Upgrade(SRSU) antennas at the conus Ground Station and the Overseas Ground Station.Contract is expected to be completed August 1996. Contract funds of $2,510,000will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile SystemsCenter, Los Angeles, California is the contracting activity (F04701-89/C-0072,PZ0056).

Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a$23,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for requirements analysis, systemdefinition, risk mitigation planning and costing for the Engineering,Manufacturing and Development phase of the Space Based Infrared Systemcontract. Contract is expected to be completed November 1996. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 80 firmssolicited and 3 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1995 andnegotiations were complete August 1995. Space and Missile Systems Center, LosAngeles, California is the contracting activity (F04701-95/C-0017).

Hughes Aircraft Company, Los Angeles, California, is being awarded a$23,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for requirements analysis, systemdefinition, risk mitigation planning and costing for the Engineering,Manufacturing and Development phase of the Space Based Infrared Systemcontract.
