NAVY

Semcor, Inc., Mount Laurel, New Jersey, is being awarded a $8,715,843cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide systems engineering and technicalsupport services, including engineering analysis, development, and integrationof warfare systems into various naval aircraft in support of the Naval AirWarfare Center, Aircraft Division, Warminster, Pennsylvania. Work will beperformed in Lexington Park, Maryland (60%), Warminster, Pennsylvania (30%),and Patuxent River, Maryland (10%), and is expected to be completed by July1999. Contract funds in the amount of $932,400 will expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request forproposals and one offer was received. Sun Transport, Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a$46,512,000 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursable elements contract forthe charter of an ocean tanker. The tanker will be chartered by the U.S.Navy's Military Sealift Command to transport DoD clean

petroleum products worldwide. The contract performance period is 17-months.Contract funds

will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract wascompetitively procured with 120 proposals solicited and 17 offers received.The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Central Technical Activity,Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62387-95-C-1713).

OMI Courier Transport, Inc., New York, New York, is being awarded a$41,188,000 firm-fixed-price with reimbursable elements contract for thecharter of an ocean tanker. The tanker will be chartered by the U.S. Navy'sMilitary Sealift Command to transport DoD clean petroleum products worldwide.The contract performance period is 17-months. Contract funds will expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procuredwith 120 proposals solicited and 17 offers received. ARMY

Hunt Building Corporation, El Paso, Texas, is being awarded a $10,120,000 firmfixed price contract for demolition and construction work in William BeaumontHousing. The project consists of demolition of 124 housing units andconstruction of 105 units for field and company grade officers and juniornoncommissioned officers. Also included are electric service, water, sewer,gas, paving, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, site improvements andinformation systems. Work will be performed at Fort Bliss, Texas, and isexpected to be completed by March 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 bids solicited on February9, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corpsof Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas (DACA63-95-C-0068).

AIR FORCE

Booz Allen and Hamilton, Incorporated, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a$14,100,000 fixed price contract for technical services supporting theimplementation of command, control, communications, computers and intelligencearchitectures. The work will be performed at government facilities in Hawaii,Alaska, Korea, the CONUS, as well as their facility in McLean, Virginia.Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds willexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 55 firms solicitedand 3 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1995 and negotiationswere complete June 1995. The 15th Contracting Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base,Hawaii is the contracting activity (F64605-95/D-0008).

Metric Systems Corporation, Ft Walton Beach, Florida, is being awarded a$10,761,278 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for 25 lineitems of Global Positioning System Range Application Equipment. Contract isexpected to be completed November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at theend of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air ForceBase, Florida is the contracting activity (F08626-93/C-0049, P00005).

Loral Corporation, Defense Systems-Eagan, St. Paul, Minnesota, is beingawarded a $6,363,203 face value increase to a cost plus fixed fee contract forsustaining engineering and maintenance of the Advanced Planning System toaccommodate a new Joint Service Air Tasking Order format. Contract is expectedto be completed August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. Rome Laboratory, Griffis Air Force Base, New York is thecontracting activity (F30603-91/C-0148, P00017).
