DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

National Beef Packing Company, Kansas City, Missouri, was awarded on August16, 1995, an estimated $39,123,779 firm fixed price contract for resalecommissary fresh beef items. Forty two proposals were solicited and five werereceived. Work will be performed in Liberal, Kansas and is expected to becompleted by August 31, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscalyear. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is thecontracting activity (SPO300-95-D-M010).

McKesson Drug Company, San Francisco, California, is being awarded a$25,242,425 firm fixed price contract for pharmaceuticals under the PrimeVendor pharmaceutical program. Two hundred ninety four proposals weresolicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Anaheim,California, and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1996. Funds will notexpire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (DLA120-93-D-7001).

American Apparel, Inc.**, Selma, Alabama, is being awarded a $20,278,503 firmfixed price indefinite quantity contract for type VI woodland camouflageenhanced hot weather coats. Forty six proposals were solicited and two werereceived. Work will be performed in Selma, Alabama and Fort Deposit, Alabamaand is expected to be completed by January 1997. Funds will not expire at theend of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SPO100-95-D-0353).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

Bolt, Beranek and Newman, Inc., Arlington, Va. is being awarded a $7,582,574firm-fixed price/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to continue allDefense Data Network (DDN) hardware and software support. This includesnetwork management support, maintenance of all DDN hardware, network diagnosticand analysis support, hardware sustaining

engineering, topological performance analysis, and software engineering for asix month period. Work will be performed in Cambridge, Mass. This is a solesource contract. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, ScottAFB, Ill. is the contracting activity (DCA200-91-C-0002).

NAVY

Sparton Electronics, Incorporated, DeLeon Springs, Florida, is being awarded a$12,522,168 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 13,381 AN/SSQ-62CSonobuoys, 352 launcher containers LAU-126/A, and associated technical data andsupport items. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs, Florida, and isexpected to be completed by August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at theend of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured byrequest for proposal and two offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare CenterAircraft Division, Indianapolis, Indiana, is the contracting activity(N00163-95-C-0176).

Magnavox Electronics Systems Company, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded a$8,136,902 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 8,277 AN/SSQ-62CSonobuoys, 256 launcher containers LAU-126/A, and associated technical data andsupport items. Work will be performed in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is expectedto be completed by August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by requestfor proposal and two offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare CenterAircraft Division, Indianapolis, Indiana, is the contracting activity(N00163-95-C-0177).

Ultra Electronics Weapon Systems, Gloucester, England, is being awarded a$5,700,000 firm-fixed-price contract for 120 high pressure pure air generatorsfor the AV-8B aircraft. Work will be performed in Gloucester, England (70%)and Cedar Knolls, New Jersey (30%), and is expected to be completed by June1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command isthe contracting activity (N00019-95-C-0141).

Dyntel Corporation, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $5,939,349modification to previously awarded contract #N00600-93-C-0294 to unilaterallyexercise the option for contractor support services for the period 1 October1995 through 30 September 1996 in support of operational management andmaintenance of the Navy Military Records System. Work will be performed at theNavy Annex in Arlington, Virginia and is expected to be completed by September1996. This contract was competitively procured with 200 proposals solicited andfive bids received. The fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, DetachmentWashington, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC, is the contractingactivity.

Claude E. Atkins Enterprises, Incorporated,* Visalia, California, is beingawarded a $7,886,750 firm-fixed-price contract for wholehouse repairs to familyhousing (Phase 1). Work will be performed on 100 existing family housing unitsof the Admiral Hartman Family Housing

Area in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego County, California, and is expectedto be completed by February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 350proposals solicited and nine bids received. The Naval Facilities EngineeringCommand, Southwest Division, San Diego California, is the contracting activity(N68711-94-C-1729).

UNC Johnson Technology, Muskegon, Michigan, is being awarded a $24,430,506contract for procurement of four separate T-56 engine turbine vanes to supportthe P-3, C-130, E-2 and C-2 aircraft. Four types of vanes in estimatedquantities of 19,350, 9,843, 11,766 and 13,364 respectively, will be procuredover a three year period. Work will be performed in Muskegon, Michigan and isexpected to be completed by August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at theend of the current fiscal year. The Naval Aviation Supply Office,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (N0038395-D-052M).

Allison Engine Company, Indianapolis, Indiana is being awarded a$10,983,653one year requirement contract for procurement of T-56 engine turbinevanes to support the P-3, C-130, E-2 and C-2 aircraft. Four types of vanes inestimated quantities of 6,450, 3,281, 3,922 and 3,341 respectively, will beprocured over a one year period. Work will be performed in Indianapolis,Indiana and is expected to be completed by August 1996. Contract funds willnot expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Aviation SupplyOffice, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity(N0038395-D-051M).

ARMY

Loral Vought Systems Corporation, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a$1,625,000 increment as part of a $46,910,186 cost plus incentive fee contractfor the engineering and manufacturing development phase of the Multiple LaunchRocket System (MLRS) Improved Launcher Mechanical System (ILMS). Work will beperformed in Dallas, Texas (99.6%) and Camden, Arkansas (.4%), and is expectedto be completed by October 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the endof the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March2, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, RedstoneArsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-95-C-0329).
