TRW Inc. of San Bernardino, California is being awarded a cost-plus-fixed-feecontract with a potential value of $212,940,464 to develop Battle ManagementCommand Control and Communications (BMC3) capability and System Engineering andIntegration (SE&I) support services for both the Theater Missile Defense (TMD)and National Missile Defense (NMD) efforts. Work will be performed atArlington, VA and is expected to be completed in August 2002. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the fiscal year. One hundred eight bids weresolicited and three received. This contract will be awarded using FY95 RDT&Efunds. The contracting activities are the Deputy for Acquisition TMD andAssistant Deputy for NMD Readiness, BMDO, Washington, D.C.(HQ0006-95-C-0018).


Nationsbank of Texas, N.A., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded an incrementas part of a $502,186,780 multi-year (FY96 funds of $104,759,000 subject toavailability of funds), cost plus fixed fee contract for the performance ofworldwide overseas military banking services. Work will be performed in thecountries of Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Iceland, Japan, Okinawa,Korea, Diego Garcia and Panama, and is expected to be completed by September30, 2000. There were 24 bids solicited on February 28, 1994, and 2 bidsreceived. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service - Washington,Washington, D.C. (DASW01-96-C-0001).


Vanguard Services, a Division of Al Johnson Construction Company*, NewJohnsonville, Tennessee, is being awarded a $7,276,267 firm fixed pricecontract to design, construct, test and deliver three standard inland rivercrane barges. Work will be performed at New Johnsonville, Tennessee, and isexpected to be completed by July 30, 1996. Contract funds

Northwestern Motor Company, Inc., Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is being awarded a$6,791,097 modification to previously awarded contract N68335-93-C-0016 toexercise an option for mid-range tow tractors, technical data, and factorytraining. Work will be performed in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and is expected tobe completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division,Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

Gibbs Construction Company, Inc., New Orleans, Louisiana, is being awarded a$7,730,000 firm-fixed-price contract for interior renovation and alterationwork to two buildings at the Naval Support Activity, New Orleans, Louisiana.Work will be performed in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is expected to becompleted by November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 26proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval FacilitiesEngineering Command, Southern Division, Charleston, South Carolina, is thecontracting activity (N62467-93-C-1161).

MIDSCO, Inc., Fairfield, New Jersey, is being awarded a not-to-exceed$17,467,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00039-94-C-0008 forfirm supplies and services necessary for the design, development, fabrication,test and delivery of approximately 12 engineering development models of a U.S.Army variant of the Multi Functional Information Distribution System (MIDS)Communication System Low Volume Terminal as well as related software, hardware,ancillaries and data for the U.S. Army. Work will be performed in Wayne, NewJersey (41%), Paris, France (26.5%), Rome, Italy (18%), Unterschleissheim,Germany (7.5%), and Madrid, Spain (7%), and is expected to be completed byMarch 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is thecontracting activity for the U.S. Army.


Sylvest Management Systems, Lanham, Maryland, is being awarded a $7,406,811Firm Fixed Price contract for commercial hardware and software to support anadditional 700 users of Wing Command Control Systems applications of theTheater Battle Management System. Contract is expected to be completedSeptember 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. There were 86 firms solicited and 25 proposals received.Solicitation began June 1995 and negotiations were complete July 1995.Electronic System Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts is thecontracting activity (F19628-95/C-0126).

Decision-Science Applications, Incorporated, Arlington, Virginia, is beingawarded a $8,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract to provide technical supportfor development of surveillance sensor technology by the Surveillance andPhotonics Directorate, Rome Laboratory, Rome, New York. Contract is expectedto be completed August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. There were 99 firms solicited and 1 proposal received.Solicitation began April 1995 and negotiations were complete July 1995. RomeLaboratory, Rome, New York is the contracting activity (F30602-95/D-0059).
