ARMY

United Technologies Corporation, Sikorsky Aircraft Division, Stratford,Connecticut, is being awarded a $37,798,276 modification to a firm fixed pricecontract to exercise an option for eight UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters for theNational Guard. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and isexpected to be completed by June 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiatedon February 5, 1991. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation andTroop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-C-0004).

NAVY

Eastern General Contractors, Inc.*, Springfield, Massachusetts, is beingawarded a $8,977,064 firm-fixed-price contract for wholehouse improvements andrepairs to family housing at the Naval Education Training Center, Newport,Rhode Island. Work will be performed in Newport, Rhode Island, and is expectedto be completed by March 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 150proposals solicited and seven offers received. The Northern Division, NavalFacilities Engineering Command, Lester, Pennsylvania, is the contractingactivity (N62472-93-C-0340).

Trataros Construction, Inc., Brooklyn, New York, is being awarded a$13,340,275 modification to previously awarded contract N62472-90-C-0087 formodernizations to bachelor enlisted quarters at Naval Submarine Base, NewLondon, Connecticut. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and isexpected to be completed by January 1998. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command,Northern Division, Lester, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.

Metric Construction Company, Inc., Thousand Oaks, California, is being awardeda $5,773,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an environmentallaboratory (Phase II) at Naval Station, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Work will beperformed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by May 1997.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Thiscontract was competitively procured with 83 proposals solicited and 16 offersreceived. Claude E. Atkins Enterprises, Inc.*, Visalia, California, is being awarded a$7,135,000 firm-fixed-price contract for wholehouse repairs and improvements tofamily housing (Phase III) at Naval Air Weapons Station, Point Mugu,California. Work will be performed in Point Mugu, California, and is expectedto be completed by December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida, is being awarded a$30,509,898 (estimated) contract value increase to a Firm-Fixed-Price for 334Diffuser Cases applicable to the F100 engines on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft.The work will be performed at East Hartford, Connecticut. Contract is expectedto be completed November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and two proposals werereceived. The solicitation was issued in March 1995 and negotiations werecompleted in August 1995. Innovative Scientific Solutions, Incorporated, Dayton, Ohio, is being awardeda $10,646,959 contract value increase to a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee for research inthe areas of aircraft fuels and gas turbine engines towards developingthermally stable fuels and high-performance, low emissions combustors forfuture Air Force aircraft. The work will be performed at Wright-Patterson AirForce Base, Ohio. Contract is expected to be completed October 2000. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Nine bids weresolicited and one proposal was received. The solicitation was issued inDecember 1994 and negotiations were completed in August 1995. The WrightLaboratory (AFMC) Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contractingactivity (F33615-95-C-2507).

Vitro Services Corporation, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is being awarded a$90,396,929 Cost-Plus-Award-Fee for FY 1996 operation and maintenance of therange facility at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Contract is expected to becompleted October 1995 through 30 September 1997. Contract funds will notexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Headquarters Air ForceDevelopment Test Center (AFMC) Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is the contractingactivity (F08635-92-C-0020).
