DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Gold Line Refining, Limited*, Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $26,333,505fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for JP-8, jet fuel. Twohundred forty proposals were solicited and thirty one were received. Work willbe performed in Lake Charles, Louisiana and is expected to be completed bySeptember 30, 1996. AT&T Government Markets, Silver Spring, Md. has been awarded a $6,714,090firm-fixed price contract for the lease of a 45MB circuit between Buckley,Colo. and Camp Smith, Hawaii. ARMY

CAS, Incorporated, Huntsville, Alabama, is being awarded a delivery orderamount of $500,000, as part of a not-to-exceed $25,000,000 indefinitedelivery/indefinite quantity contract for scientific, professional and othertechnical services associated with rotorcraft research, development, test andevaluation programs that encompass the following tasks: systems

engineering, rotorcraft analyses and integration, software engineering, testand evaluation, and technical services. Work will be performed in Huntsville,Alabama, and is expected to be completed by August 31, 1998. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 157 bidssolicited on September 30, 1994, and 4 bids received. The contracting activityis the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, Fort Eustis, Virginia(DAAJ02-95-D-0031).

Prewitt and Associates, Incorporated*, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a$2,500 increment as part of a $12,500,000 indefinite delivery/firm fixed pricecontract (base year and four option years) to perform cultural resourcemanagement planning and archeological, historical, and architectural studies.Work will be performed within the United States, its territories, and otherholdings and project areas outside the continental United States, and isexpected to be completed by August 27, 2000. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 bids solicited on September12, 1994, and 3 bids received. Swinerton & Walberg Company, Arvada, Colorado, is being awarded a $13,425,000firm fixed price construction contract for the addition and alteration of a106,000 square foot building, to include 1,700 cubic yards of concrete;structural steel frame; 53,000 square feet of brick veneer; 2,000 square feetCMU walls; 17,000 square feet composite metal wall panels; associated plumbing;fire protection; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; interior finishes,electrical work; site utilities, grading, paving, and sitework. Work will beperformed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, and is expected to be completedby September 23, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. There were 80 bids solicited on May 5, 1995, and 7 bidsreceived. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha,Nebraska (DACA45-95-C-0100).

NAVY

Texas Instruments, Inc., Lewisville, Texas, is being awarded a $236,389,347cost-plus-incentive/award-fee contract for engineering and manufacturingdevelopment of the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) Unitary Weapon System. TheJSOW Unitary Weapon is a variant of a family of smart weapons that provides theNavy with standoff attack capabilities which will increase user survivabilityand enhanced strike capabilities. Work will be performed in Lewisville, Texas,and is expected to be completed by August 2002. This contract containsoptions, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of thecontract to $318,172,742. This contract was not competitively procured. TheNaval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity(N00019-95-C-0120).

J&J Maintenance, Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $7,183,846firm-fixed-price contract for revitalization of family housing units at NavalAir Station, New Orleans, Louisiana. Work will be performed in New Orleans,Louisiana, and is expected to be completed by August 1999. Contract funds willnot expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract wascompetitively procured with 48 proposals solicited and two offers received.The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, Charleston, SouthCarolina, is the contracting activity (N62467-93-C-0807).

AIR FORCE

Johnson Control World Services, Incorporated, Cape Canaveral, Florida, isbeing awarded a $95,882,935 face value increase to a Cost Plus Award Feecontract for FY 1996 launch base support services for the 45th Space Wingoperations at Cape Canaveral Air Station, Florida and the Eastern Range.Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract isexpected to be completed July 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the endof the current fiscal year.
