AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pico Rivera, California, is being awarded a $19,688,238 face value increase to a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for the B-2 Industrial Base Preservation Effort through October 1995 which will maintain the production capability for the B-2 aircraft. The work will be also be performed at Boeing Defense and Space Group, Military Airplane Division, Seattle, Washington (46%), Loral Federal Systems, Owego, New York (12%), Hughes Aircraft (7%) and Vought Corporation, Dallas, Texas (5%). Contract is expected to be completed October 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Beech Aerospace Services, Incorporated, Madison, Mississippi, is being awarded a $20,925,175 face value increase to a Fixed Price Incentive contract for FY1996 maintenance of T-37, T-38A, T-38B and T-1A aircraft at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Rockwell Power Systems, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is being awarded a $65,370,299 Cost Plus Award Fee contract for operation and maintenance and research and development for the Maui Space Surveillance System, Maui, Hawaii from December 1995 through September 2000. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 85 firms solicited and two proposals received. FreBon International Corporation, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $102,000,000 Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for various quantities of video teleconferencing equipment under the Integrated Management Communications Program. Contract is expected to be completed September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 39 firms solicited and four proposals received. Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a $10,217,124 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract for replacement of the Tactical Telemetry System on 125 warheads applicable to the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM). Contract is expected to be completed August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is the contracting activity (F08626-92/C-0001, P00037).

The Air Force is awarding a $162,846,563 Firm Fixed Price contract to the following contractors participating in a contractor team arrangement: Federal Express Charter Programs, Memphis, Tennessee; American Trans Air, Incorporated, Indianapolis, Indiana; Air Transport International Limited Liability Company, Little Rock, Arkansas; and Southern Air Transport, Incorporated, Miami, Florida. This action provides for FY1996 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. The work will be performed by Federal Express, Memphis, Tennessee (48%) and American Trans Air, Indianapolis, Indiana (37%). Remaining work will be performed by the other contractors. Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 firms solicited and 21 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1995; negotiations were complete August 1995. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois is the contracting activity (F11626-95/C0019).

The Air Force is awarding a $108,483,529 Firm Fixed Price contract to the following contractors participating in a contractor team arrangement: Tower Air Incorporated, Jamaica, New York, American International Airways, Incorporated, Ypsilanti, Michigan and Carnival Air Lines, Dania, Florida. This effort provides for FY1996 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. The work will be performed by American International Airways (60%) and Tower Air, Jamaica, New York (39%) with the other contractors performing the remaining work. Contract is expected to be completed October 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 firms solicited and 21 proposals received. The Air Force is awarding a $397,684,636 Firm Fixed Price contract to the following contractors participating in a contractor team arrangement: World Airways Incorporated, Herndon, Virginia; Evergreen International Airlines, McMinnville, Oregon, Rich International Airways, Miami, Florida; Emery Worldwide Airlines, Vandalia, Ohio; Continental Airlines, Incorporated, Houston, Texas; Miami Air International, Incorporated, Miami Springs, Florida; and Northwest Airlines, Incorporated, St. Paul, Minnesota. This action provides for FY1996 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. The work will be performed by World Airways, Herndon, Virginia (32%), Evergreen International Airlines, McMinnville, Oregon (25%), Rich International Airlines, Miami, Florida (25%). Other contractors performing the remaining work. Contract is expected to be completed October 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 firms solicited and 21 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1995; negotiations were complete August 1995. ARMY

Bear Brothers, Incorporated*, Montgomery, Alabama, was awarded on September 8, 1995, an $8,819,000 firm fixed price contract for construction of an 82,000 square foot, 5-story Squadron Officers School Dormitory, with associated site work. Work will be performed at Maxwell Air Force Base, **Alabama, and is expected to be completed by March 21, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 44 bids solicited on July 18, 1995, and five bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama (DACA01-95-C-0150).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Industrial Builders, Incorporated, Fargo, North Dakota, is being awarded an $800,000 increment as part of a $7,500,575 firm fixed price contract for construction of Perry Creek Flood Protection, Phase I. The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work to remove the existing concrete and sheet pile outlet structure from an existing buried concrete conduit and constructing a new reinforced concrete structure at the conduit's outlet at the Missouri River. Work will be performed in Sioux City, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by January 27, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 85 bids solicited on June 1, 1995, and four bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Nebraska (DACW45-95-C-0113).

NAVY
