DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Forstmann & Company, New York, New York, is being awarded a $9,391,200 firm fixed price contract for navy blue wool serge cloth. Forty proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Milledgeville, Georgia; Louisville, Georgia; and Dublin, Georgia and work is expected to be completed by January 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Sandler Foods, Virginia Beach, Virginia, is being awarded a $8,250,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for full line food distribution. One hundred twenty five proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 30, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Bergen Brunswig Drug Co., Orange, California, is being awarded an estimated $18,198,963 firm fixed price modified requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor pharmaceutical program. Three hundred nine proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Glen Allen, Virginia and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996. Lockheed Technical Operations Company, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $22,360,376 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract for FY1996 operational support for a range of space, missile, and ground systems, as well as associated readiness, launch, training and planning activities. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Company, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $8,841,735 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract for FY1996 Maintenance Support and Mission Development Element Software Support for the Satellite Mission Control Segment of the Milstar program. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Company, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $25,496,600 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract for FY1996 on-orbit support for the Milstar Development Flight Satellites 1 and 2. This effort will include Factory Engineering Tools, Sustaining Engineering, and Space Ground Link Systems Operations. Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Texas Capital Contractors, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, was awarded on September 30, 1995, a $9,542,000 firm fixed price contract for repairs to the interior of H-area Barracks. soldiers. Project includes the installation of washer/dryer connections, and kitchen cabinets with sinks; and the renovation of bathrooms, and rooms. In all, over 400 living quarters totaling approximately 25,000 square feet will be renovated. Work will be performed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on July 26, 1995, and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Georgia (DACA21-95-C-0168).

Wade Parrow Construction, Incorporated, Gig Harbor, Washington, was awarded on September 30, 1995, an $8,383,096 firm fixed price contract to design/build an education center. The scope of the project consists of designing and building in metric units approximately 5,793 square meters of classroom and support spaces. The facility will also require the design and construction of associated car and truck hardstand, site utilities, and other site improvements on a cleared site. The Education Center will be used to provide adult educational services. Work will be performed in the counties of Christian County, Kentucky and Montgomery County, Tennessee, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1997. Of the total contract funds, $11,798 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 38 bids solicited on July 5, 1995, and 4 bids received. Power Conversion, Incorporated, Elmwood Park, New Jersey, was awarded on September 30, 1995, a $21,750,480 firm fixed price contract for 408,000 BA-5590/U batteries, to be used in the SINCGARS radio; AN/PDR-75 radios; Communications Security TSEC/KY-57; and Simulated Area Weapons Effects/Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement Systems. Work will be performed in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will be performed in Pensacola, Florida, and is expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by request for proposals with three offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

TRW Systems Division, Systems Engineering Group, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,461,138 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-91-C-6456 for marine architect and engineering services in support of the Amphibious Warfare Program Office. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by June 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $3,438,287 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Rockwell International Corporation, Autonetic Electronics Systems Division, Anaheim, California, is being awarded a $19,018,047 firm-fixed price/cost-plus-fixed-fee/time and materials contract for the design and construction of the Fiber Optic Data Multiplex System (FODMS) for DDGs 80, 81, and 82. Work will be performed in Anaheim, California (55%) and El Paso, Texas (45%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.
