AIR FORCE
Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Hopkins, Minnesota, is being awarded a
$6,956,000 firm fixed price contract for 370,000 FMU-154 Fuzes applicable to
the PGU9A/B cannon on the AC-130U aircraft. The work will be performed at
Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, New Brighton, Minnesota and Alliant
Techsystems Proving Ground, Elk River, Minnesota. Contract is expected to be
completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were two proposals received. Solicitation began
July 1995 and negotiations were complete August 1995. Aeronautical Systems
Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida is the contracting activity
(F08626-95/C-0365).
N&N Travel and Tours, Redondo Beach, California, is being awarded a $7,300,000
firm fixed price contract for management and operation of the Air Force Flight
Center Commercial Travel Office, Edwards Air Force Base, California. Contract
is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were one-hundred forty-three firms
solicited and eight proposals received. Solicitation began July 1995 and
negotiations were complete August 1995. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards
Air Force Base, California is the contracting activity (F04700-95/C-0026).
U. S. Army
Chamberlain Manufacturing Corporation, Scranton, Pennsylvania was awarded on
September 30, 1995 a $12,242,694 modification to a cost reimbursable no fee
contract for flex line prove out of metal parts at Scranton Army Ammunition
Plant. Work will be performed in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be
completed by September 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract solicited on May 18,
1995. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army Armament, Munitions and
Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-94-G-0005).

ManTech Advanced Systems International, Inc., Columbia, Maryland, is being
awarded a $1,141,188 increment, subject to availability of funds, as part of a
$17,823,564 time and material contract for repair/return maintenance for
equipment in the SIGINT Service Center. Work will be performed at Fort Meade,
Maryland, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2000. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were
fourteen bids solicited and six bids received. The contracting activity is the
Defense Supply Service - Washington (MDA904-96-C-0105).
NAVY
M Technologies, Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $6,200,964
cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for engineering and manufacturing development
of the BRU-55 (Smart Bomb Rack) for installation on Navy and Air Force
aircraft.. Work will be performed in Horsham, Pennsylvania, and is expected to
be completed by April 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval
Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity
(N00019-95-C-0045).
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace-East, St. Louis,
Missouri, is being awarded a $52,148,413 modification to previously awarded
contract N00019-93-C-0139 for on-site maintenance and support of the T45
training system at the Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas. Work will be
performed in Kingsville, Texas (93%) and St. Louis, Missouri (7%), and is
expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract funds will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.
