H. B. Zachry Company, San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on September 30, 1995, a
$3,548,602 increment as part of a $9,497,602 firm fixed price contract for
repair, removal and replacement work, exterior insulation finish system,
painting, mechanical work, electrical work, mobilization and demobilization,
testing, final connections and cleanup. There will also be some new
construction including electrical outlets for movable partitions, testing,
final connections and cleanup. Work will be performed at the U.S. Army
Kwajalein Atoll, and is expected to be completed by May 15, 1997. Contract

Metric Construction Company, Incorporated, Thousand Oaks, California, was
awarded on September 30, 1995, an $11,382,509 firm fixed price contract for
construction of a training facility for the U.S. Army Reserve. The project
includes construction of a three-story administrative type facility (Building
A) with exclusive offices as well as common use office areas, classrooms,
restrooms and elevators. A separate single story unit storage annex (Building
B) will be constructed with arms vault and unit storage space.
Telecommunications infrastructure with wiring will be provided. Supporting
facilities include utilities; electrical service; air conditioning; interior
and exterior lighting; fire protection and alarm systems including sprinklers;
sidewalks; paving; parking; curbs and gutters; storm drainage; landscaping;
information systems; and site improvements. Work also consists of demolishing
four buildings in the Fort Shafter Flats area (Buildings, 1544, 1545, 1546, and
1571) and constructing a parking lot on this site to include proper drainage,
lighting and landscaping. A replacement administrative (Building C) facility
will be constructed due to the demolition of the aforementioned four buildings.
Work will be performed at Fort Shafter, Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be
completed by October 19, 1997. Of the total contract funds, $3,030,000 expired
at the end of fiscal year 1995. There were 221 bids solicited on July 28,

NAVY
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a

progressive aircraft rework (SPAR) and associated integrated logistics support
for four VH-3D and three VH-60N aircraft. Work will be performed in Stratford,

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a
$10,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0058 for
non-Spares Acquisition Integrated with Production (SAIP) spares for the FY 95
production of the T-45A aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis,
Missouri and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not

General Electric Company, Aircraft Engine Business Group, Lynn, Massachusetts,
is being awarded a $13,020,000 modification to previously awarded contract
N00019-86-C-0247 for the enhanced performance F404-GE-402 engine for the
Malaysian and Swiss F/A-18C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn,
Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by April 1996. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not
competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the governments
of Switzerland (81%) and Malaysia (19%) under the Foreign Military Sales
