ARMY
Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a
$798,000 increment of a $23,033,768 modification to a $134,835,922 cost plus
fixed fee/level of effort contract to exercise the option for continued
operation of the Airborne Surveillance Testbed (AST) for FY96. Work will be
performed in Seattle, Washington, and is expected to be completed by September
30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on October 22, 1994. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command,

Kilgallon Construction Company, Incorporated, San Diego, California, is being
awarded a $6,752,341 firm-fixed price contract for replacement of family
housing units at Wherry Family Housing, Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield,
California. Work will be performed in Fairfield, California, and is expected
to be completed by April 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 230
proposals solicited and 11 offers received. The Engineering Field Activity
West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, California, is the

Mystech Associates, Incorporated, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a
$9,197,850 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee
contract for engineering services in support of combat system analysis and
development. Work will be performed in Newport, Rhode Island (70%),
Middletown, Rhode Island (20%), and Groton, Connecticut (10%) and is expected
to be completed by October 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 95 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval

United Defense Limited Partnership (UDLP) Armament Systems Division,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, is being awarded a $11,701,463 cost-plus-award-fee
contract for engineering services in support of the MK 41 Vertical Launching
System (VLS). Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minnesota (94%) and
Aberdeen, South Dakota (6%) and is expected to be completed by December 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The

Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, West
Mifflin Borough, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $319,650,000 modification to
previously awarded contract N00024-89-C-4003 for Naval nuclear propulsion work.
Work will be performed in West Mifflin Borough, Pennsylvania. Contract funds
in the amount of $166,200,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. is the contracting
activity.
Loral Defense Systems - East, Great Neck, New York is being awarded a
$51,833,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-effort contract to provide the US/UK
TRIDENT II Technical Assistance Program FY-96 requirements. The contract will
provide for a wide variety of engineering support effort. Work will be
performed in Great Neck, New York, and is expected to be completed by September
1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
