NAVY
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a
$280,424,810 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0084 to
procure 24 Fiscal Year 1995 F/A-18C weapon systems and associated supplies and
data. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be
completed by September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the
contracting activity.
Hughes Aircraft Company, Naval & Maritime Systems, San Diego, California, is
being awarded a $32,391,685 cost-plus-award-fee letter contract for the
engineering and manufacturing development of the MK 1 Ship Self Defense System
(SSDS). Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be
completed by December 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $120,041 will
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not
competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting

AIR FORCE
Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company, Marietta, Georgia, is being awarded a
$6,249,000 cost plus fixed fee contract for the design, development,
fabrication and test of aircraft engine exhaust technology intended to reduce
infrared output. Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 5
proposals received. Solicitation began January 1995 and negotiations were
complete September 1995. Wright Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base,

United Technologies Corporation, East Hartford, Connecticut, is being awarded
a $5,923,775 firm fixed price contract for repair of 110 engine core modules
applicable to the F100 engine on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. The work will
also be performed at United Technologies Corporation, San Antonio, Texas.
Contract is expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 2 firms solicited and
2 proposals received. Solicitation began August 1995 and negotiations were
complete September 1995. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force

Hughes Training, Incorporated, Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a
$11,910,307 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for FY1996
operation, maintenance and support of the Aircrew Training System for the C-141
aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed May 1996. Contract funds will

National Academy of Sciences, Washington, DC, is being awarded a $9,319,448
cost reimbursement contract for a maximum of 100 associateships for scientists
and engineers under the Resident Research Associateship Program. Contract is

end of the current fiscal year. There was one firms solicited and one proposal
