CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Great Lakes Dredge and Dock, Incorporated, Oak Brook, Illinois, is being
awarded a $1,000 increment as part of a $7,697,750 firm fixed price contract
for a dredging-beach nourishment-shore protection project. Project consists of
mobilization & demobilization, beach tilling, beach fill,
construction/vibration control, dune vegetation and lighted aids to navigation.
Work will be performed in Martin County, Florida, and is expected to be
completed by April 15, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 52 bids solicited on August 14, 1995 and 2
bids received. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Jacksonville, Florida (DACW17-96-C-0006).
AIR FORCE
Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a
$13,100,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for integration
of the Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System into the Airborne
Warning and Control System aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed July
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts is the
contracting activity (F19628-94/C-0089, P00007).
