DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tennessee Apparel Corp.*, Tullahoma, Tennessee, is being awarded a $21,444,343 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for parkas. One hundred twenty nine proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and Huntsville, Tennessee and is expected to be completed by March 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0100-96-D-4002).

AIR FORCE

Loral Command and Control Systems, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded a $35,070,855 cost plus award fee contract for development of mechanisms to migrate the Contingency Theater Automated Planning System, the Wing Command and Control System, and the Combat Intelligence System into a common core system environment. Contract is expected to be completed July 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 5 firms submitting proposals. Solicitation began November 1994 and negotiations were complete July 1995. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts is the contracting activity (F19628-95/C-0143).

Basler Turbo Conversion, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is being awarded a $51,852,024 firm fixed price contract for supplies and services to convert the R-1830 engines on nine DC-3 aircraft to PT6A-67R turboprop engines. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was 1 bid solicited and 1 proposal received. Solicitation began March 1995 and negotiations were complete September 1995.
