DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Lion-Vallen, Inc., Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded an estimated $16,452,621
firm fixed price requirements contract as a Prime Vendor Distributor for
initial issue bag clothing items. Forty-five proposals were solicited and
three were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 1997. The
Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting
activity (SP0200-96-D-0304).
NAVY
Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Bethpage, New York, is being awarded a
$6,411,335 ceiling priced order for the purchase of seventy-one right-hand
outboard slat assemblies and fifty-seven left-hand outboard slat assemblies as
spares to be used in support of the EA-6B aircraft. Work will be performed in
Milledgeville, Georgia (50%), and St. Augustine, Florida (50%), and is expected
to be completed by November 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The
Naval Inventory Parts Control Point, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the
contracting activity (N00383-94-G-M114-4021).
