ARMY

Brown and Root Services Corporation, Houston, Texas, was awarded on November13, 1995, a $5,378,101 modification to a cost plus award fee contract toprovide and install a temporary 1,000 person base camp to support the U.S. AirForce adjacent to Aviano Air Base, Aviano, Italy. The temporary base campconsists of billeting, showers, latrines, kitchen, dining facilities, selfservice laundry, recreation facilities, administration and office facilitieswith appropriate arrangements for water, sewer, gas and electrical. Work willbe performed in Aviano, Italy, and is expected to be completed by December 18,1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.There were 37 bids solicited on September 27, 1995, and 4 bids received. Thecontracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Virginia(DACA78-92-C-0066).

Allison Transmission Division, General Motors Corporation, Indianapolis,Indiana, is being awarded a $23,515,674 modification to a firm fixed price andcost plus fixed fee contract for 91 transmission upgrades for the M1 AbramsTank. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to becompleted by December 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 27,1993. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command,Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-C-A016).

TSI, Incorporated*, Shoreview, Minnesota, is being awarded a $5,648,453modification to exercise an option of a firm fixed price contract for 5,097 M41Protection Assessment Test Systems in support of the Chemical and BiologicalMask Programs. Work will be performed in Shoreview, Minnesota, and is expectedto be completed by February 28, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at theend of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated onMay 5, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank AutomotiveCommand, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAE20-95-C-0354).

Allied Signal Technical Services Corporation, Columbia, Maryland, is beingawarded a $3,085,594 increment as part of an $18,935,969 time and materialscontract for maintenance and support at various sites inside and outside of thecontinental United States, with a completion date of September 30, 2000.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Therewere 3 bids solicited on August 1, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contractingactivity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C.(MDA904-96-C-0180).

NAVY

Space and Sensors Associates, Vienna, Virginia, is being awarded an indefinitequantity/indefinite delivery contract with a ceiling value of $10,000,000 toprovide engineering, integrated logistics management support, programmanagement, and acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication,Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Program. Work will be performed in Vienna,Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract funds inthe amount of $186,428 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Thiscontract was not competitively procured. The Space and Naval Warfare SystemsCommand, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00039-96-D-0021).

Lockheed Sanders, Incorporated, Defense Systems Division, Nashua, NewHampshire, is being awarded a $6,628,000 firm-fixed-price delivery order forthe AN/USM-406D Countermeasure Test Set and associated equipment and spareparts to support the AN/ALQ-126 and AN/ALR-67 airborne systems on the F-18E/Faircraft. Work will be performed in Nashua, New Hampshire, and is expected tobe completed by August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Thiscontract combines purchases for the governments of Malaysia (99%) and Kuwait(1%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The Naval Air WarfareCenter Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity(N68520-93-G-0011).

Atlantic Research Corporation, Camden, Arkansas, is being awarded a$12,324,243 firm-fixed-price contract for 3,830 sidewinder rocket motors forthe United States Air Force (300), and the governments of Turkey (1030), Taiwan(1,312), Finland (480), South Korea (592), Malaysia (86), and Singapore (30).This contract combines purchases for the United States Air Force (13%), and thegovernments of Taiwan (31%), Turkey (26%), South Korea (14%), Finland (12%),Singapore (2%), and Malaysia (2%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS)Program. Work will be performed in Camden, Arkansas, and is expected to becompleted by January 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request forproposals and three offers were received. The Naval Air Systems Command,Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-C-0048).

James McHugh Construction Company, Chicago, Illinois, is being awarded a$10,095,000 firm-fixed-price contract for wholehouse revitalization of familyhousing units at Forrestal Village, Naval Training Center, Great Lakes,Illinois. Work will be performed in Great

Lakes, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by January 1997. Thiscontract has options

which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to$11,935,000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was competitively procured with 42 proposals solicited andsix offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, SouthernDivision, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity(N62467-95-C-0825).

Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Bethpage, New York, is being awarded a$9,349,708 modification to previously awarded contract N68520-94-C-0200 for thefull scale fatigue test (FSFT) of the Navy's C-2A(R) aircraft. Work will beperformed in Bethpage, New York, and is expected to be completed by November1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.The Naval Aviation Depot Operations Center, Patuxent River, Maryland, is thecontracting activity.

General Electric Company, Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $5,502,740modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0104 for 10 ModelT700-GE-401 engines for U.S. Marine Corps AH-1W reserve aircraft. Work will beperformed in Lynn, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by June 1997.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. TheNaval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a $11,660,338 facevalue increase to a firm fixed price contract for 51 basic and 39 enhancedsmall tactical terminals applicable to the Defense Meteorological SatelliteProgram. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996. Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and MissileSystems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California is the contractingactivity (F04701-94/C-0019, P00016).

Cordant, Incorporated, Reston, Virginia, is being awarded a $929,000,000 timeand material, firm fixed price and cost reimbursable contract for theIntegration for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligenceeffort. It will focus on manufacture and development of interoperable systemsand subsystems to upgrade the Intelligence Data Handling System and othersystems. The work will be performed at BTG, Inc., Vienna, Virginia (40%);Sterling Software (U.S.), Inc., Bellevue, Nebraska (40%); and Cordant, Inc.,Reston, Virginia (53%) Contract is expected to be completed . Contract fundswill not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 11 proposalsreceived. Solicitation began November 1994 and negotiations were completeSeptember 1995. Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a$5,734,265 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract foroperational and maintenance support through 30 November 1996 for the DefenseMeteorological Satellite Program 5-D Satellite. Contract is expected to becompleted November 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air ForceBase, California is the contracting activity (F04701-95/C-0014, P00009).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Exxon Company International, Florham Park, New Jersey, is being awarded a$5,451,750 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet A-1fuel, gasoline, and diesel fuel. Twenty six proposals were solicited and twowere received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected tobe completed by December 31, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of thefiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is thecontracting activity (SP0600-96-D-1255).

Coastal Refining & Marketing, Miami, Florida, is being awarded a $6,902,601fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for marine gas oil. Twohundred fourteen proposals were solicited and twenty-one were received. Workwill be performed in Miami Beach, Florida, Port Canaveral, Florida, Hollywood,Florida, and Port Everglades, Florida, and is expected to be completed byJanuary 30, 1998.
