ARMY

Johnson Matthey Electronics, Incorporated, Spokane, Washington, is beingawarded a $12,302,970 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract forresearch and development to establish a large area cadmium zinc telluride (CZT)substrates for use in infrared focal plane array (IRFPA) manufacturing. Workwill be performed in Spokane, Washington (31%), Dallas, Texas (18%), Saxonburg,Pennsylvania (19%), Lexington, Massachusetts (13%), Goleta, California (16%),Minneapolis, Minnesota (2%), and Charlottesville, Virginia (1%), and isexpected to be completed by March 12, 1997. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiatedon May 25, 1995. The contracting activity is the Advanced Research ProjectsAgency, Arlington, Virginia (MDA972-91-C-0046).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is being awarded a$10,572,908 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to incorporate the functions of theMTRE MK9 into the fire control navigation interface subsystem. Work will beperformed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed byOctober 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's StrategicSystems Program, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity(N00030-95-G-0050).

Lockheed Martin Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is being awardeda $28,181,674 cost-plus-incentive-fee and fixed-price-incentive contract withincentives on cost and delivery to provide for continued tactical engineeringsupport and repair and recertification for the U.S. TRIDENT II and UnitedKingdom Polaris and TRIDENT II fire control systems. Work will be performed inPittsfield, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by September 1997.Contract funds in the amount of $19,290,717 will expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. Under the Continuing Resolution Act, the contract will beinitially funded at $11,248,052. This contract was not competitively procured.The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington, Virginia, is the contractingactivity (N00030-96-C-0008).

Ryan Incorporated Central, Janesville, Wisconsin, is being awarded a$5,645,250 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an 18-hole golf courseincluding landscaping and paving at Andrews Air Force Base, Camp Springs,Maryland. Work will be performed in Camp Springs, Maryland, and is expected tobe completed by July 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract is awarded with non-appropriated fundsprovided by Air Force Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), and wascompetitively procured with five proposals solicited and three offers received.The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities EngineeringCommand, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-95-C-0041).

AIR FORCE

Marvin Engineering Company, Incorporated, Inglewood, California, is beingawarded a $16,487,377 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for612 Captive Air Training Missiles (CATM), 587 CATM Propulsion Sections, 587CATM Missile Control Sections, 2348 CATM Wing Assemblies, and 2348 CATM FinAssemblies, all in support of AIM-120C Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air(AMRAAM) training efforts. Contract is expected to be completed June 1997.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contractingactivity (F08626-92/C-0011, P00015).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Idamitsu Appollo Corporation, New York, New was awarded on December 1, 1995, a$6,908,793 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for F76 andmidgrade automotive gasoline fule. Sixty-four proposals were solicited andfourteen were received. Work is expected to be completed by December 31, 1996.Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel SupplyCenter, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting activity(SP0600-96-D-0453).

Terry Manufacturing Co., Inc.*, Roanoke, Alabama, is being awarded a$10,042,500 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for coats. Oneproposal was solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completedby November 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. TheDefense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contractingactivity (SP0100-96-D-0314).

Ssangyong (U.S.A.) Inc., Carlstadt, New Jersey, is being awarded a $85,177,882fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for midgrade automotivegasoline, aviation turbine fuel (JP8), and naval distillate fuel. Sixty fourproposals were solicited and fourteen were received. Work will be performed inKyung Sang Nam-Do, Korea and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1996.Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel SupplyCenter, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting activity(SP0600-96-D-0455).
