DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Trans Tec Services*, Teaneck, New Jersey, is being awarded a $9,240,937fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for intermediate fuel oil(180), intermediate fuel oil (380), and grade 6 burner fuel oil. Two hundredtwenty proposals were solicited and twenty one were received. Work will beperformed in Jacksonville, Florida; Savannah, Georgia: New Orleans, Louisiana;Wilmington, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; and Beaumont, Texas andis expected to be completed by December 31, 1997. The Defense Fuel SupplyCenter, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting activity(SP0600-96-D-0019).

ARMY

Loral Federal Systems-Owego, Owego, New York, was awarded on December 1, 1995,a $5,116,002 firm fixed price contract for Lot 1 production (13 each) of theRadar Frequency Interferometer (RFI) for the Fire Control Radar, applicable tothe Apache Longbow Aircraft and related support. Work will be performed inOwego, New York, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1998.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This isa sole source contract initiated on November 7, 1995. The contracting activityis the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri(DAAJ09-96-C-0049).

NAVY

Coakley and Williams Construction Company, Incorporated, Greenbelt, Maryland,is being awarded a $7,968,499 firm-fixed-priced contract for a Base CivilEngineering Complex at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. Work will beperformed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by December1997. Contract funds are Military Construction, Air Force, and will not expireat the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitivelyprocured with 150 proposals solicited and four offers received. TheEngineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command,Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-95-C-0048).

Therm Incorporated, Ithaca, New York, is being awarded a $7,327,380firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 23,280 high pressure turbineblades used in the F-404 engine on the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performedin Ithaca, New York, and is expected to be completed by January 1997. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract wascompetitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received.The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is thecontracting activity (N00383-96-C-M057).

Cray Research Incorporated, Eagan, Minnesota, is being awarded a $5,611,475firm-fixed-price contract for one high performance computing system, includingone year of hardware and software maintenance. This contract contains optionswhich, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to$15,183,871. This computer will be located at the Advanced Scientific andEngineering Computational Center Facility, Newport, Rhode Island. Work willinclude system installation and will be performed at the Naval Undersea WarfareCenter Division, Newport, Rhode Island, and is expected to be completed byJanuary 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $4,503,128 will expire at theend of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured as aresult of technical proposals received under a Center-Wide Broad AgencyAnnouncement with four offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare CenterDivision, Newport, Rhode Island, is the contracting activity(N66604-96-C-A668).

GPS Technologies, Inc., Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a $12,932,310modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-2110 for design,engineering, and technical support for SSBN submarine engineered operatingcycle, fleet modernization and SSN submarine engineered operating cycleprograms. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to becompleted by September 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $12,692,776 willexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command,Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
