AIR FORCE
On January 11, 1996, McDonnell Douglas Training Systems, St. Louis, Missouri,
was awarded a $19,210,146 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to
provide one Aircrew Training System applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The work
will be performed at Flight Safety International, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (65%)
as well as McDonnell Douglas Training Systems in St. Louis, Missouri (35%).
Contract is expected to be completed March 1999. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Force Materiel Command,

On January 12, 1996, Rockwell International Corporation, Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
was awarded a $7,457,680 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for
nine Class 2/2H Terminals applicable to the Joint Tactical Information
Distribution System. Contract is expected to be completed September 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

On January 12, 1996, Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, was
awarded a $6,608,232 cost plus fixed fee contract for the High Power Microwave
Suppression of Enemy Air Defense Technology Demonstration. The work will be
performed at Hughes Missile Systems Company, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Contract is expected to be completed January 1999. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 36 firms solicited; 2
proposals were received. Solicitation began August 1995 and negotiations were

On January 12, 1996, Orbital Sciences Corporation, Germantown, Maryland, was
awarded a $7,556,103 firm fixed price contract to provide Mission Support
Systems (MSS) and related contractor support for the Egyptian Air Force. This
includes: 16 MSS II+ mission planning workstation subsystems and associated
data; 1 MSS II+ database preparation system and associated data; system design
and support for site development; 100 satellite imagery
scenes of Egypt; related training for Egyptian Air Force personnel;
installation and checkout of all systems in Egypt. Contract is expected to be
completed January 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received.
Solicitation began November 1995; negotiations were complete January 1996. This
effort support foreign military sales to Egypt. Electronic Systems Center,

On January 12, 1996, Electronics and Space Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri,
was awarded a $5,827,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract for
interim contractor support for the AN-APQ-170 radar system applicable to the
MC-130H aircraft from 16 Jan 96 through 15 Jan 97. Contract is expected to be
completed January 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force
Base, Georgia is the contracting activity (F09603-94/C-0162, P00013).
Martin Marietta Technologies, Incorporated, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded
a $6,508,285 cost plus fixed fee contract for software development to provide
synthetic aperture radar with a near real time automatic target detection,
recognition, and identification capability. Contract is expected to be
completed December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

ARMY
Southwest Mobile Systems Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, was awarded on
January 12, 1996, a $4,702,705 increment as part of a $9,405,410 firm fixed
price letter contract for 47 M1000 Heavy Equipment Transporter System (HETS)
semitrailers. Work will be performed in West Plains**, Missouri, and is
expected to be completed by November 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on September 7, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-96-C-X100).
Steeltech Manufacturing, Incorporated*, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was awarded on
January 12, 1996, a $24,597,500 firm fixed price contract for 3,000 M2
Flatracks, Palletized Loading System. Work will be performed in Milwaukee,

SPARTA, Incorporated*, Laguna Hills, California, is being awarded an increment
(appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order)
as part of an $8,061,561 (potential value of $21,342,106 over 5 years)
indefinite delivery requirements/cost plus fixed fee contract for engineering
and technical support services in support of integrated systems analysis. Work
will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by
December 29, 2000. There were 117 bids solicited on June 30, 1994, and 4 bids
received. The contracting activity is the Virginia Contracting Activity,

NAVY
Rockwell International Corporation, Collins Avionics and Communications
Division, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded an $11,775,398 modification to
previously awarded contract N00019-94-C0219 for the procurement of 701 control
display navigation units (CDNUs) for the global positioning systems onboard
U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force aircraft. Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, and is expected to be completed in May 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command,

Military Construction Corporation*, Orange Park, Florida, is being awarded a
$5,559,000 firm-fixed price contract for construction of a United States Custom
Service Aviation Branch hangar at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida.
Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida, and is expected to be
completed by April 1997. Contract funds are Military Construction, Navy and
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured with 53 proposals solicited and 8 offers received. The

PRC Incorporated, McLean, Virginia, is being a $22,542,837 modification to
previously awarded contract N00178-95-C-3018 for facilities planning,
engineering and technical support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dalgren
Division's (NSWCCD) research facility and NSWCDD Detachment Wallops Island
research facility. The work will be performed at PRC's Dahlgren facility,
Dahlgren, Virginia (60%) and NSWCDD Detachment Wallops Island, located on the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Flight Facility, Wallops
Island, Virginia (40%), and is expected to be completed by July 2000. The
