Loral Vought Systems Corporation & MLRS International Corporation, Grand
Prairie, Texas, is being awarded $26,103,240 (foreign military sales letter
contract amount) as part of a $52,206,480 firm fixed price contract for
Multiple Launch Rocket System hardware consisting of 8 launchers and 16
trainers for Denmark, and 12 launchers and 24 trainers for Norway. Work will
be performed in Dallas, Texas (95%), and Camden, Arkansas (5%), and is expected
to be completed by June 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on November
6, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone
Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-96-C-0093).
Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is being awarded a $9,443,016
modification to a firm fixed price contract for 72 each M977 Heavy Expanded
Tactical Trucks (HEMTTs) and M983 tractors for Saudi Arabia. Work will be
performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by September
30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on October 13, 1993. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command,
Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-C-R086).
American Service Contractors*, LP, Smithville, Tennessee, was awarded on
January 17, 1996 a $3,756,771 increment as part of a $38,220,475 cost plus
award fee contract for post-wide food service for the period April 1, 1996
through March 31, 2001, at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Of the total contract
funds, $3,756,771 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 104 bids solicited on August 24, 1994, and 14 bids received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort
Jackson, South Carolina (DABT47-96-C-0010).
CORRECTION
On January 17, 1996, contract awards for Lockheed Engineering & Sciences
(DAAD07-91-C-0108) and Raytheon Company (DAAH01-95-C-0043) were inadvertently
listed. They had already been released on January 2, 1996.

Visidyne, Incorporated*, Burlington, Massachusetts, was awarded on January 16,
1996, a $1,500,000 increment as part of a $7,770,394 cost plus fixed fee
contract for research, development, testing and evaluation of nuclear weapons
effects for sensors. Work will be performed in Burlington, Massachusetts
(92%), Goleta, California (7%), and Huntsville, Alabama (1%), and is expected
to be completed by October 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 22 bids solicited on September 25,
1995, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the Defense
Nuclear Agency, Alexandria, Virginia (DNA001-96-C-0034).
AIR FORCE
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a
$16,641,608 face value increase to a fixed price contract for development of 12
prototype Global Positioning System kits applicable to the F-15 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed November 1996. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical System Center,
Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-92/C-2102,
P00083).
Lockheed Martin Services Company, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is being awarded a
$6,487,228 time and material contract for operation and maintenance of the
Cobra Judy Radar System aboard the United States Naval Ship (USNS) Observation
Island (OI) and of the Cobra Judy Software Maintenance Management Facility at
Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. Contract is expected to be completed February
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were ten bids solicited and three proposals received. Solicitation began
November 1995; negotiations were complete January 1996. Electronic System
Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity
