DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Doninger Metal Products Corporation*, Youngsville, North Carolina, is being
awarded a $5,867,780 firm fixed price contract for portable field surgical
scrub sink units. Seventeen proposals were solicited and five were received.
Work is expected to be completed by May 1998. Funds will not expire at the end
of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-C-8509).
Coastal Institutional Distributors, Walterboro, South Carolina, is being
awarded an estimated $31,154,388 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract
for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Three hundred
thirty five proposals were solicited and ten were received. Funds will not
expire at the end of the fiscal year and work will be completed in January
1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the
contracting activity (SP0300-96-D-2802).
ARMY
ITT - Aerospace Communications Division, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded
a $5,070,000 increment as part of a $10,699,656 firm fixed price/cost plus
incentive fee/time and materials combination contract to design, develop, and
produce Near Term Digital Radio (NTDR) prototypes. The basic contract shall
reflect quantities of NTDR radios, network management terminals, installation
kits, testing, training and logistics support for a quantity of 200 radios.
The award provides for an option for up to an additional 950 radios. Work will
be performed in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by December
31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There was a broad agency announcement on the electronic bulletin board
on May 24, 1995, and 3 bids were received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded
a $5,551,143 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for FY 95 PATRIOT
engineering services for Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Israel,
Kuwait, and the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency. Work will be performed in
Bedford, Massachusetts (78.81%), Burlington, Massachusetts (6.18%), Huntsville,
Alabama (6.11%), Andover, Massachusetts (5.86%), Orlando, Florida (1.53%), El
Paso, Texas (0.93%), and Wayland, Massachusetts (0.58%), and is expected to be
completed by January 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August
24, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone
Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-95-C-0043).
United Defense, L.P., Ground Systems Division, York, Pennsylvania, is being
awarded a $59,319,345 modification to a firm fixed price contract for
remanufacturing 105 Cavalry Fighting Vehicles. Work will be performed in
York**, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated on August 28, 1995. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan
(DAAE07-96-C-X036).
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
R&D Maintenance Services, Incorporated*, Hennessey, Oklahoma, is being awarded
$1,000,000 of a $1,664,340 increment, as part of a potential $8,366,124 cost
plus award fee contract for the operation and maintenance of a government
owned/contractor operated facility and equipment. Work will be performed at
West Point Project, West Point**, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by
February 28, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 98 bids solicited on April 17, 1995, and 4 bids
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Mobile, Alabama (DACW01-96-C-0029).
DEFENSE NUCLEAR AGENCY
Mission Research Corporation*, Santa Barbara, California, is being awarded a
$1,500,000 increment of a $7,174,690 ($7,948,558 potential value with 4
options) cost plus fixed fee contract to develop a consistent set of models for
protecting nuclear environments which can produce significant optical effects.
Work will be performed in Santa Barbara, California (50%), and Nashua, New
Hampshire (50%), and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2000.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 40 bids solicited on October 12, 1995, and one bid was received. The
contracting activity is the Defense Nuclear Agency, Alexandria, Virginia
(DNA001-96-C-0041).

NAVY
Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Incorporated, Sunnyvale, California, is
being awarded a $10,014,035 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for services necessary
to continue the Strategic Capability Preservation (SCP) for the TRIDENT (D5)
missile systems. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, California, and is
expected to be completed by September 1996. Contract funds in the amount of
$2,024,310 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-96-C-0044).
