DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Lankford-Sysco Food Service, Pocomoke, Maryland, is being awarded an estimated $25.1 million firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for full line food distribution. Fifty seven proposals were solicited and seven were received. Work is expected to be completed by January 25, 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0300-96-D-2901).

Doughtie's Foods, Inc.*, Portsmouth, Virginia, is being awarded an estimated $19.4 million firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for full line food distribution. Fifty seven proposals were solicited and seven were received. Work is expected to be completed by January 25, 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0300-96-D-2900).

ARMY

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded $12,350,000 as part of a not-to-exceed $24,700,000 firm fixed price contract for PATRIOT power generation equipment for Kuwait. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico (75%), and Bedford, Massachusetts (25%), and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source letter contract initiated in September 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-96-C-0113).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $269,541,136 modification to a firm fixed price contract for Lot 20 funding of the UH60L Black Hawk production contract (includes aircraft and all support for 60 aircraft for FY96). Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by December 30, 1997.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on February 5, 1991. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-C-0004).

Cessna Aircraft Company, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a delivery order amount of $8,371,282 as part of a $156,969,663 firm fixed price, requirements type contract for 35 C-XX medium range aircraft, training and life cycle contractor support (LCCS). This delivery order will include the purchase of 2 aircraft, LCCS for one year and training. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 24 bids solicited on August 1, 1995, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-96-D-0009).

ITT Corporation, Avionics Division, Clifton, New Jersey, is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) of an estimated, not-to-exceed $8,937,162 time and materials contract for services and materials for 36 months support of the Advanced Threat Radar Jammer. Work will be performed in Clifton, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by January 28, 1999. There were 12 bids solicited on September 25, 1995, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-D-D602).

NAVY

SYSCON Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia, is being awarded a $5,199,616 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee provisions for engineering services in the areas of design, tactical development, test & evaluation, and in-service Navy underwater weapon systems and weapon support systems: Torpedo -- MK48, MK48 ADCAP, MK 46 and MK 50; Targets -- MK 27, MK 30, MK 40, MK 28, the Advanced ASW Mobile Target and Surface Ship Torpedo Defense System. Work will be performed in Middletown, Rhode Island, and is expected to be completed by January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 122 proposals solicited and 10 offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island, is the contracting activity. (N66604-96-D-B162).

Bell Helicopter Textron, Incoporated, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $8,930,729 firm-fixed-price delivery order to fabricate and provide 17 Night Targeting System/Canopy and Cockpit Modifications for the AH-1W Helicopter. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 1997. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00019-93-G-0185).

AIR FORCE

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded an $8,096,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for repair of 46 (best estimated quantity) High Pressure Turbine Rotors applicable to the TF-39 engine on the C-5 aircraft. The work will be performed at General Electric, Aviation Component Service Center, Cincinnati, Ohio (30%) and General Electric Company, West Coast Operations, Ontario, California (70%). Contract is expected to be completed January 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began November 1995 and negotiations were complete January 1996. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F-41608-96/D-0241).
