ARMY
Bulova Technologies * L.L.C., Lancaster, Pa., is being awarded a $9,739,536
modification to a firm fixed price contract for 103,557 M762 fuzes in support
of the 105mm, 155mm artillery projectiles. Work will be performed in
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be completed by November 29, 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated on December 12, 1995. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Armaments, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock
Island, Illinois (DAAA09-94-C-0521).
NAVY
Hughes Aircraft Company, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $5,202,318
modification to previously awarded contract N00030-95-C-0029 for the repair
program for
MK-6 Electronic Assemblies, Memory Stack Assemblies, Inertial Measurement Unit
Electronics, and modules for the TRIDENT MK-6 Guidance System. Work will be
performed in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by
September 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $3,448,022 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. The Navy Strategic Systems Program, Arlington,
Virginia, is the contracting activity.
United Defense, L. P., Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis, Minn., is being
awarded a $46,614,700 cost-plus-incentive-fee letter contract for the design,
development and fabrication of a performance modification to the 5"/54 MK 45
gun mount, operational on DDG 51 Class ships. Work will be performed in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is expected to be completed by August 1997.
Contract funds in the amount of $6,000,000 will expire at the end of

the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The
Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity
(N00024-96-C-5223).
MAR Incorporated, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $10,888,772 indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering and
technical services in the area of hydroacoustics and hydrodynamics of towed
systems. Work will be performed in Rockville, Maryland (75%), Naval Surface
Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Carderock, Maryland and its detachments
(20%), and while on sea trials (5%), and is expected to be completed by
February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 43 proposals solicited and
one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division,
Carderock, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00167-96-D-0016).
Defense Information Systems Agency
Spacelink International, Ltd., Great Falls, Va.* has been awarded a firm
fixed-price contract for the lease of Ku-band transportable satellite
terminals, ancillary equipment, 24 hour/7-day week operations and maintenance
of satellite terminals and related equipment. If all options are exercised, the
contract will total $5,635,183. These services will be provided in Heidelberg,
Landstuhl, and Ramstein, Germany; and Tuzla and Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The equipment will be used in the DISA Bosnia Reachback IDNX Network. The
equipment is required to be delivered to Bosnia-Herzegovina with service date
within two days of arrival at the sites. The period of performance is 12
months. Four vendors were solicited and three proposals were solicited.
