NAVY

Bath Iron Works Corporation, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $27,648,122 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-2800 for Lead Yard Class Services on the DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyers. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

ARMY

General Electric Company, Aircraft Engine Business Group, Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $12,749,925 modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise the FY96 option for 25 Longbow 701C installed engines. Work will be performed in Lynn, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by December 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 8, 1993. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-94-C-0044).

Bulova Technologies*, L.L.C., Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $6,014,781 firm fixed price contract for 433,654 M739A1 Fuze MPTS in support of various artillery rounds. Work will be performed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by January 27, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on November 6, 1995, and two bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-96-C-0017).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

SIGAL Construction Corporation, Washington, D.C., is being awarded an $8,472,000 firm fixed price construction contract for modernization of the fifth floor at the U.S. General Accounting Office. The project consists of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, communication and security renovation for the modernization of administrative office space. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 51 bids solicited on December 15, 1995, and nine bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Maryland (DACW31-96-C-0028). * Small Business
