ARMY
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Services, Incorporated, St.
Louis, Missouri, was awarded on February 16, 1996, a $29,527,582 modification
to a firm fixed price with cost reimbursable lines contract for maintenance,
supply, and services in support of the Royal Saudi Land Forces Army Aviation
Command. Work will be performed in Riyadh and King Khalid Military City, Saudi
Arabia, and is expected to be completed by March 6, 1998. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids
solicited on September 15, 1993, and three bids received. The contracting

Environmental Technologies Group, Incorporated*, Baltimore, Maryland, is being
awarded a $5,400,000 increment of a $7,376,890 modification to a $22,486,601
cost plus fixed fee contract to design, develop, and produce prototypes and
their packaging, and to provide technical support and hardware maintenance for
government test and evaluation of the Biological Detector and to establish a
production baseline. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Maryland, and is
expected to be completed by September 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on August 30, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army

Texas Instruments/Martin Marietta, Javelin Joint Venture, Lewisville, Texas,
is being awarded a $173,700,000 firm fixed price and cost plus incentive fee
contract for low rate initial production (LRIP III) and contractor support for
the Javelin Weapon System. Work will be performed in Texas (60%) and Florida
(40%), and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1998. Of the total
contract funds, $173,090,195 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Hughes Missile System Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $1,805,810
increment as part of a $24,325,650 (with options) cost plus fixed fee contract
to repair, rebuild, maintain and test hardware for the Stinger Missile System.
Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by
December 31, 1999. Of the total contract funds, $1,714,575 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on

Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is being awarded
a $213,789,326 increment as part of a $575,070,346 firm fixed price/cost plus
award fee contract for the construction, operation, and closure of the Anniston
Chemical Demilitarization Facility. This contract will be for the
construction, equipment installation, systemization, operation and closure of
the facility. Work will be performed at the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston,
Alabama, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2005. Of the total
contract funds, $22,398,528 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 36 bids solicited on April 22, 1992, and 7 bids received. The

Manhattan Construction Company, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a
$16,000,000 increment as part of a $121,497,000 firm fixed price contract for
Phase II construction, which consists of a 500,000 square foot multi-story
biomedical research facility with a self contained energy plant within the new
building. The facility will contain BL-2 and BL-3 laboratories, auditorium,
library, classrooms, administrative office, conference rooms, supply and
service areas and a cafeteria. Site improvements include new storm drains,
lighting, surface parking and a parking structure, relocation of public
utilities and storm drainage, water, natural gas piping, sanitary sewer and
storm water management. Work will be performed at Walter Reed Army Institute
of Research, Forest Glen, Maryland, and is expected to be completed by April
30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 216 bids solicited on January 2, 1996, and eight bids
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,

Allied Signal Engines, Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $9,063,206
firm fixed price contract for disk assembly, pressure bellows, and rear
bellows, used on the ACT 1500 engine for the M1 Abrams family of vehicles.
Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be
completed by December 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on October
27, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive &

being awarded a $5,789,701 increment as part of a $13,503,254 cost plus
incentive fee contract for PATRIOT technical publication support for the
countries of: Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Netherlands, and Taiwan.
Work will be performed in Burlington, Massachusetts, and is expected to be
completed by February 28, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on September

NAVY
Texas Instruments, Inc., Defense Systems & Electronics Group, Dallas, Texas,
is being awarded a $30,354,225 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of
12 AN/APS-137B(V)5 radars for the P-3C aircraft; 7 for the U.S. Navy and 5 for
the government of Norway. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is
expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.
This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (58%) and the government of
Norway (42%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The Naval Air

Anritsu/Wiltron Company, Morgan Hill, California, is being awarded a
$19,497,460 firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract for 1250 synthesized
sweep generators for the General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment Program.
