DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
ARCO Alaska, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska was awarded on February 29, 1996, a
$32,343,097 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for direct
supply natural gas. Approximately twenty-two proposals were solicited and
three were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Funds
will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center,
Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-7518).
ARMY
Hellfire Systems, Limited Liability Company, Orlando, Florida, is being
awarded a $30,782,400 modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise
FY96 Option 4 for an additional 636 HELLFIRE II missiles for the Republic of
United Arab Emirates. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is
expected to be completed by February 28, 1999. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on February 1, 1990. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-90-C-0323).
K.S.D., Incorporated*, Banning, California, is being awarded an $11,982,883
firm fixed price contract for 2,519 strap assembly main rotor heads for the
Apache helicopter. Work will be performed in Banning, California, and is
expected to be completed by October 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 4 bids solicited on August
7, 1995, and one bid received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-96-C-0168).

Longbow Limited Liability Company, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a
$44,248,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract for Lot 1 production of
AH-64D Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR). Work will be performed in Orlando,
Florida (50%), and Baltimore, Maryland (50%), and is expected to be completed
by April 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 8, 1994. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis,
Missouri (DAAJ09-95-C-A002).
NAVY
Hughes Space and Communications Company, El Segundo, California, is being
awarded
a $19,600,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00039-88-C-0300 to
add a Global Broadcast Service (GBS) capability to the last three Ultra High
Frequency Follow-On Satellites, F8, F9 and F10. GBS will be an additional
payload to the satellites and will work alongside the UHF and EHF payloads on
each satellite. Work will be performed in El Segundo, California,
and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command,
Arlington, VA, is the contracting activity.
Rockwell International Corporation, Richardson, Texas, is being awarded a
$5,725,403 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0212 to
exercise an option for High Power Transmit Set (HPTS) spares for the E-6A
airfract. Work will be performed in Richardson, Texas (80%), Shreveport,
Louisiana (17%), and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (3%), and is expected to be completed
by October 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, VA, is the contracting
activity.
AIR FORCE
Lockheed Corporations, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $75,083,841 face
value increase to a fixed price incentive contract for ten Unit Level Trainers
and two Weapons System Trainers, both in Mid-Life Update configuration,
applicable to the Aircrew Training System applicable to the F-16 aircraft, as
well as a Training Systems Sport Center for the European Participating Air
Forces. The work will be performed at Lockheed Corporation, Ft. Worth, Texas
(45%) and Thomson Training and Simulation, Limited, West Sussex, United
Kingdom. Contract is expected to be completed January 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports
foreign military sales to Norway, Belgium and The Netherlands. Aeronautical
Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting
