DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Propper International Inc. Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded anestimated $5,565,000 firm fixed price contract for woodland camouflagetrousers. One hundred twenty seven proposals were solicited and six werereceived. Work will be performed in Mayaguez, Adjuntas, and Cabo Rojo, PuertoRico and is expected to be completed by April 1997. Funds will not expire atthe end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0100-96-C-0331).

Diamond Shamrock Refining Co., L.P., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a$6,512,100 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aviationturbine fuel, JP8. Twelve proposals were solicited and six were received.Worked will be performed in Sunray, Texas and is expected to be completed bySeptember 30, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. TheDefense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting activity(SP0600-96-D-0480).

NAVY

Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, Massachusetts, is being awarded an$8,160,288 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to establish the TRIDENT II (D5)Guidance System Technology Sustainment Progam for the development of acomputer-based integrated engineering environment to support the replacement ofexisting technologies due to aging problems for the MK-6 guidance system.Work will be performed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is expected to becompleted by March 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington,Virginia, the contracting activity (N00030-96-C-0028).

AIR FORCE

Viasat Inc, Carlsbad, CA, is being awarded a $10,992,482.00 firm fixed price,cost plus award fee , and time and materials contract for MILSATCOMProgram--Design, fabricate, integrate, install, test, and deliver 3 sixteenchannel 5 kHz and 25 kHz ultra high frequency demand assigned multiple accessmulti-channel network control stations. Contract is expected to be completedin April `97. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscalyear. The solicitation was issued in December `95 and negotiations werecompleted in March `96. HQ Electronic Systems Center, Directorate ofContracting, MILSATCOM Terminal Contracts SPO, ESC/MCK, Hanscom AFB, MA is thecontracting activity (F19628-96-C-0015).

ARMY

Raytheon Company, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded an $11,879,903increment as part of a $24,244,700 firm fixed price contract for PATRIOTclassification, discrimination, and identification Phase III kit long leadmaterial procurement and Sweep V Radar set retrofit requirements. Work will beperformed in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by March30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 17, 1996. Thecontracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal,Alabama (DAAH01-96-C-0114).
