NAVY
Adams Construction Company, Incorporated,* Savannah,
Georgia, is being awarded a $5,989,000 firm-fixed-price contract
for construction of a Recruit Training Facility. Work will be
performed at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South
Carolina, and is expected to be completed by September 1997.
Contract funds are Military Construction, Navy (MCON) and will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract
was competitively procured with 35 proposals solicited and four
offers received . The Southern Division, Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Charleston, South Carolina, is the
contracting activity (N62467-96-C-0751).
ASRC Contracting Company, Incorporated, Sacramento,
California, is being awarded a $8,397,000 firm-fixed-price
contract to repair petroleum storage tanks and Dikes 1 through 7
at the Defense Fuel Support Point, Charleston, South Carolina.
Work will be performed in Charleston, South Carolina, and is
expected to be completed by January 1999. Contract funds are
Defense Business Operating Funds (DBOF) and will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured with 128 proposals solicited and eight
offers received. The Southern Division, Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Charleston, South Carolina, is the
contracting activity (N62467-91-C-0558).
Michuda Construction, Incorporated,* Chicago, Illinois, is
being awarded a $6,572,112 firm- fixed-price contract for
construction of a 48,090 square foot, two-story naval reserve
readiness center including exterior site work, as well as
demolition of Building 2711 and the foundation of Building 169,
and removal of asbestos material. Work will be performed at the
Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois, and is expected to
be completed by January 1998. Contract funds are Military
Construction, Naval Reserve (MCNR) and will expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 17 proposals solicited and six offers received.

AIR FORCE
Allied Signal Technical Services Corporation, Columbia,
Maryland, is being awarded a $62,500,000 time and materials
contract to provide for installation of seismic arrays in support
of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty. Contract is expected to be
completed May 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 31 firms solicited and 2
proposals received. Solicitation began October 1995 and
negotiations were complete April 1996. Aeronautical System
Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting
activity (F33657-95/D-0066).
ARMY
ITT Corporation, Aerospace Communications Division, Fort
Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded a $33,513,654 modification to a
firm fixed price contract to exercise the option for FY96 Single
Channel Ground and Airborne Radio Systems (SINCGARS) Airborne
Production Radios. Work will be performed in Fort Wayne,
Indiana, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 3,
1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications
and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-94-C-
0403).
Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego,
California, is being awarded a firm fixed price contract
(appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each
delivery order) with a cumulative total of $46,037,485 over five
years, to provide the necessary personnel, materials, facilities,
and other services required to provide the Office of the
Secretary of Defense with financial management education and
training. Work will be performed in Southbridge, Massachusetts,
and is expected to be completed by May 9, 2001. The contracting
activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington,
