CONTRACTS
ARMY
Hughes Technical Services Company, Long Beach, California,
was awarded on
May 2, 1996, a $3,842,850 increment as part of a $7,702,650 firm
fixed price contract (includes one option) for upgrade and repair
of 150 thermal receiving units in support of the M1, M1IP, M1A1
Abrams Tank. Work will be performed in Long Beach, California,
and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a
sole source contract initiated on August 8, 1995. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments
Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAE20-96-C-0188).
Triton Marine Construction Corporation, Houston, Texas, is
being awarded a $9,124,774 firm fixed price contract to replace
the existing wastewater treatment plant with a new facility, 1.28
MGD capacity, utilizing sequential batch reactor technology and a
lime stabilization process, to discharge into the existing lagoon
storage system. Work will be performed at the Wastewater
Treatment Plant, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and is
expected to be completed by September 7, 1997. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 146 bids solicited on March 26, 1996, and nine bids
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Seattle, Washington (DACA67-96-C-0033).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Craddock Terry Inc., Lynchburg, Virginia, is being
awarded a $5,040,925 fixed price with economic price adjustment
indefinite quantity contract for women's dress oxford shoes.
Work will be performed in Farmville, Virginia, and is expected to
be completed by November 1997. Funds will not expire at the end
of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0100-
95-D-0336).
