DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Exxon Company International, Florham Park, New Jersey, was
awarded on May 24, 1996, a $47,166,000 fixed price with economic
price adjustment contract for JP5 aviation turbine fuel and JP8
aviation turbine fuel. Seventy three proposals were solicited
and fourteen were received. Work will be performed in overseas
locations and is expected to be completed by July 30, 1997.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense
Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting
activity (SP0600-96-D-0485).
Specialty Plastics Products of Pennsylvania*, Dunmore,
Pennsylvania, was awarded on May 24, 1996, a $5,314,524 firm
fixed price contract for large field packs with internal frames.
Two hundred eighty five proposals were solicited and two were
received. Work will be performed in Jefferson City, Tennessee
and is expected to be completed by February 1998. Funds will not
expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting
activity (SP0100-96-C-4030).
Mobil Oil Corporation, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a
$25,341,472 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for JP8 aviation turbine fuel. Seventy three proposals were
solicited and fourteen were received. Work will be performed in
overseas locations and is expected to be completed by July 30,
1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The
Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the
contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-0488).
AIR FORCE
Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, is being
awarded a $7,330,436 cost reimbursable contract to provide for
production and update of Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manuals
for the Joint Tactical Coordinating Group for Munitions
Effectiveness. These manuals will provide information on weapon
characteristics, methodology, target vulnerability, delivery
accuracy and other factors. The work will be performed at Eglin
Air Force Base, Florida (80%) and the Aberdeen Proving Ground,
Maryland (16%). Contract is expected to be completed June 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 42 firms solicited and 3 proposals received.
Solicitation began March 1996; negotiations were complete May
1996. Wright Laboratory, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the
contracting activity (F08630-97/C-0002).
NAVY
Lockheed Martin, Ocean Radar & Sensor Systems, Utica, New
York, is being awarded a $7,324,860 indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity contract to repair AN/APS
125/138/139/145 radar systems components used on E-2C aircraft.
This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring
the cumulative value of the contract to $13,950,000. Work will
be performed in Syracuse, New York, and is expected to be
completed by April 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with two proposals solicited and one offer received.
The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is
the contracting activity (N00383-96-D-011F).
