CONTRACTS
AIR FORCE
Rockwell International Corporation, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is
being awarded a $6,695,694 face value increase to a firm fixed
price contract to provide for installation of Block 10 radar and
display upgrade kits on 45 C/KC-135 aircraft. Contract is
expected to be completed March 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air
Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the
contracting activity (F34601-96/C-0001, P00007).
Sverdrup Technology, Incorporated, Tullahoma, Tennessee, is
being awarded a $107,304,264 cost plus award fee contract to
provide for approximately 1800 man-years of engineering Advisory
and Assistance Services to Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air
Force Base, Florida, under the Technical Engineering Acquisition
Support III program. Contract is expected to be completed July
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 176 firms solicited and 4 proposals
received. Solicitation began February 1996; negotiations were
complete May 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force
Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (F08626-96/D-0003).
Loral Corporation, Federal Systems Division, Owego, New
York, is being awarded a $5,489,000 face value increase to a firm
fixed price contract to provide for redesign to open systems
architecture of the Digital Multiplexer applicable to the CC-2E
mainframe computer on the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System
(AWACS) aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March
2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base,
Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-C/0012,
P00007).
ARMY
Aerojet General Corporation, Sacramento, California, is
being awarded a $70,000 increment as part of a $5,149,764 cost
plus fixed fee contract for a Combined Effect Warhead (CEW)
technology integration program. Work will be performed in Rancho
Cordova, California, and is expected to be completed by June 30,
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 28,
1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive
and Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey (DAAE30-96-C-
0072).
